So I took your advice and tried the Green Set in Franchise. You were right, totally different game. I kept the cpu around 50% passing which I was very happy with. My attitude has changed regarding tweaks.

User (Redskins) CPU (Texans)

1) User run blocking needs to be turned up. With the Skins (Morris) I went 18 for 32 yards.
2) Tackling for both user and CPU needs to drop. Where it's at now, everything is a hit stick hit for the CPU. I'm also not seeing any yards after first contact or catch. Makes slants and outs useless.
3) Didn't see any real big plays. every pass I made was dink and dunk or slants. I threw two deep balls with one on one coverage and both ended up interceptions. When I try and user catch it's an automatic drop.

Not sure if your sliders can fix #3 but I like where these are headed.

User Run Blocking - 40
User/CPU Tackling - 10

Might have jumped the gun on User Run Block. It felt great, but a lot of yards/attempts came in garbage time as I milked the clock to seal the deal. Everything felt great though. Not much going for the CPU offense though. It's funny, I played the same game twice and got way different results. I didn't even touch CPU running and even improved it by turning down User tackling but the CPU was worse running than the first time I played. I might lower tackling even more to open the field and get more big plays. If it means the sloppiest game of football, then so be it.

Got upset by the Jags at home. So far all lower scoring games. I really like my adjustment for Tackle at 5 now. I think it's solid there. Maybe could use some more penalties to get teams closer to the red zone for scores. Bortles had 80 yd TD on a dumb play by me. So he had a non factor game. It was all ball possession for the Jags.

Just put it on Normal and see how it goes for a few games. It some areas become too easy we'll just have to adjust the sliders. Which set are you using by the way?

Haha! Yeah you did jump the gun.. You definitely have to play at least 3 or 4 games without tweaking anything just to see how the sliders are playing out.. If you wanna help out the CPUs running just raise there runblocking..

I use green but changed CPU tak to 55 (black). Passing still too difficult for me. Open receivers get swarmed on as soon as the qb releases the ball. Seems as though pass reaction is way too high but the CPU has wr wide open often.

You can either raise the USER accuracy up 5 points or try lowering the CPUs pass reaction and coverage down 10 points. Have you been checking the replays of your pass plays? Are you getting the ball out of your hands on time? You can't react slow when your WR gets seperation or a step on the defender. You have to know where to place the ball. Check the replays of you passes and see if you could have went somewhere else with the ball. It helps you see your mistakes so you can get a better understanding of how to read the coverages and where to go with the ball..
