Fatigue and Subs post patch

I know it was not mentioned in the patch notes but since the patch I have noticed that I'm seeing the back up running back come in more often at default faigue than it was pre patch. My last game I was at default fatigue and sub out/in setting of 95/100 and I saw my back up running back come in for 3 plays on the first drive of the game. I did run the ball a lot to test this but I would never see my back up come into the game at default fatigue and a high sub setting pre patch. Has anyone else tested this and found the same results? This would be great news being that we could use a lower fatigue setting which prevents positions we do not want to see subbed being taken out less if at all.
