I would say that 5 is a good value on All Madden or on All Pro with certain penalty tweaks. It produces the best variety in throw types and the best mix of on-target and errant passes for me, anyway.

Above that and you see the 10-10 to start the game phenomenon. At 5, you see misses early on and consistently through the game.

Ok, but that really happens. I've seen plenty of games this year (rl) where the qb only has missed 1 or 2 passes in the first half. Another example, Cleveland vs Ravens, Hoyer was 18 for 20 till the middle of the 4th qtr. Now it isn't a norm, but I've seen it more this year.

I spend more time on sliders than playing true fun games.. The game is still H2H default/Tourney centric in its design....So penalties will never actually work at default 50, and only 2 or 3 actually make a difference in penalties called when raised.

I have been to other forums for slider help, but if it's a H2H/Tourney forum, forget getting any help...This is about the only forum that has people willing to help each other with sliders and the sim side....

What sucks is, the two persons who write all the "how to stuff" for Madden's Prima Guide are nothing but tourney/H2H minded; so save your money on their crap info....I won't name 'em but I think most know who they are...Two lazy people that found a way to play games and make money, IMO...And refuse to cover the full game options, especially sliders..
