Josh do you think I could probably punch this set into my coach mode? I mean I assume people already usually just control one person on defense and also control the QB.

Shouldn't be that much of a difference if I let the CPU control the players.

I'm not confident it would work...some aspects are skewed towards the CPU. Give it a shot though.

Note: you should probably lower human QBA to 3 to align with the Ig setting.

it was the old set, not that it was particularly unrealistic, bradshaw got about 60-70 luck would get 10-20 and tipton would get 10

with my lions franchise i get about 60 a game with the old sliders

Oh, I agree that the old set had the user run game down nicely....I think the new set might be a tad tougher though (not sure if that is a good thing though)....

it really depends on the person, im average at the game so slightly easier set fits me, i should also point out i use qb acc at 10

it suits me i still throw ints but dont have the constant urge to kill andrew luck lol

Hey chaps, I've tried these sliders and settings (along with a bunch of others) and get the same result when it comes to defending the pass - the CPU receivers are almost always five yards open on routes that go horizontal.
I've tried multiple variables of the reaction-INT-coverage sliders, along with tweaking the DPI and OPIs.
Any ideas?

Use the coverage shadings, and remember, crossing routes are great against man coverage. I mentioned this, because you didn't specify man or zone. Anyhow, you need to use the coverage shadings, and always keep the down and distance, time remaining, and score in mind, too. Pick what you want to take away in a given situation, and all coverages come with their own strengths and weaknesses, as does your defensive personnel. Knowing what your team does well, or not so well, will help you pick the right coverages, too. Hope this helps, at least a little.

Defense
Pass Rush: My Pass Rush hasn't been overwhelming really, despite incredible Pass Defense (M. Ryan and A. Rodgers) I've only had one game that was really out of line...but boy was it out of line!
CPU QB will generally go for the check-down when deeper routes are covered, but many of the sacks could be avoided if the CPU QB would just throw it away! Brees did excellent here...Rodgers and Ryan, not so much.
CPU QB will still take deep shots if given time, which is great.
Run D: I generally user the MLB and rush to take on blockers so my OLBs can make the tackle. The reason I do this is because the the CPU always shoots straight for your User controlled player, so doing this allows my CPU LBs to clean up the trash. I haven't faced anyone of significance yet, but my Run D is far-and-away the best in the league, mostly due to the lack of attempts.
Pass D: My CPU Pass D has been unbelievable, locking down receivers and keeping QBs (except Brees and Brady) in check. Brees had a field day, and I - like the real Vikings - had trouble covering the good TEs in the schedule...but other than that it's been absolutely dominant.

Offense
Passing: Throwing the ball generally takes me a bit to get into a comfort zone. I tend to throw an early INT or two...or take an unnecessary sack before I get into a groove. I like the feel of the Passing, not too simple, not unrealistically difficult. I see many misfires, and make many mistakes, which really makes the set feel good here.
CPU Pass D will occasionally lock my receivers down, forcing a sack or throwaway...but for the most part also looks good. They don't mirror the WRs, and leave windows available for a throw when given the right look...but if the throw is off the mark they are quick to take advantage. Again...feels good!
Rushing: I love the way the running game feels...though as you can see by the stats it's a bit easy - having AD helps, I suppose. Holes will open up, and not always the designed holes. Other times my Line gets blasted and I'm forced to cover up and eat the TFL. Again...FEELS really good, but stats are on the high end. Love the amount of Broken Tackles, getting 3-4/game and they look good in game.

Still the best slider set I've played with...really, really good.

I think my Confidence is ruining the ability to test. My defense has been so dominant that it's week 6 and many of my starters have confidence in the 70s-90s, upping many of their stats by 2-3 pts.

I'll give the new set a shot, but it wouldn't surprise me if results are similar to my last couple games thanks to the poorly implemented Confidence mechanic. Any other thoughts or suggestions based on the above?
