Re: JoshC1977s M15 Set

Well boys....I hadn't expect to play much more of this game. However, a bit of a breakthrough has occurred on the NCAA slider front. I have brought that to M15 and it is working quite nicely. There are three major keys:
  1. Pass reaction and pass coverage need to be low to get the proper defensive play in the passing game.
  2. QBA needs to be higher in order to stimulate the CPU to force throws into coverage and to take riskier throws. However, User QBA also needs to match it or else you will get 'Robo QB' by the CPU.
  3. The pass block sliders need to be low or else the CPU will hold the ball too long.
My first game was using the Raiders against the Jets. In spite of the higher QBA settings, I completed under 50% of my passes with Carr (mainly because I'm too aggressive). More importantly, both Geno and Vick completed 58% of their passes (Smith got hurt in the first half). Vick also played like Vick, taking off when under pressure (Smith played more conservatively - but also threw a couple of bombs). The user run game was tough against the Jets front seven but Ivory ran nicely (numbers inflated by a 94 TD run that was totally my fault for whiffing on a couple of tackles). It is also possible to actually run on the perimeter...which is almost unheard of....

I'd like to play a few more games before posting, but the initial impressions were so positive that I couldn't wait. So, here they are....

Just a quick question... Is CPU TKL supposed to be 10 pts higher than Human? I only ask b/c everything else is the same.

First half me vs Texans:

Browns 17 Texans 21
Manziel 19/22 189yds 1td 0int
Rivers 18/22 212yds 3td 0int

I've had 1 drop and two passes incomplete as I was being hit.

Rivers had 2 drops, 1 hit causing incomplete, and 1 overthrow.

Thoughts: 1-2 receivers have about 10 yards of separation between them and the CB. Man in impossible. Zone worked a bit better but Rivers just threw once a wide out was out of the zone.

I'll finish the game but Rivers is rated 81... I have 89ovr Whitner, 95ovr Gipson, 97ovr Haden, 85ovr Gilbert, and 82ovr rookie Roberts and I can't cover worth a crap!

I just had a similar game as Oak vs NE....Carr hit 69% (came into the game at 50%...so that was better) but Brady hit 80%. Other games, the CPU was around 63%....so ideal. I can live though with Brady going off....

The issue I had in my game was lack of pressure...only one sack on Brady and he had a clean pocket....then when I blitzed, ugh....

Can we just lower CPU pass block? I have Kruger (97ovr DE) and a rookie 85ovr DE and I had 1 sack and some hurries, but other times all day!

My thoughts exactly, Just played a game against 2-5 Texans, starting a rookie qb with a crap arm, slightly below average accuracy and 33 confidence and he lit my world beater D up for 360 yds 2 tds and a 75% completion rate. Forget man, no press off the line and receivers have 5-10 yards separation almost immediately, zone isn't much better, and the pass rush doesn't seem to effect the qb's accuracy at all.

I didn't have this problem at all. Had 8 sacks vs Texans, only 2 were user sacks.
