Slider Ranges?

Curious if anyone has theories or hypothesis on optimum slider ranges, Hum/CPU/Penalty, where going outside of such a range increases randomness and/or unpredictability in game play and player actions?

I am feeling that the sweet range is no more than +/- 20 points from default 50.....

though I am thinking "interceptions" and "tackles may require going beyond a +/- 20 point range.

within this range, pass blocking at 65 keeps the blockers in their area, thus not creating open spots in the line for blitzers to get a free shot, generally.
