TheSaints7' All Madden sliders w/ QBA CHART for realistic stats, ideal for Franchise

I have tried a lot of sliders on this forum and was having a difficult time finding the right balance between difficulty and realism. Personally I do not like the way sliders are done in this years Madden. They changed some of the categories and the sliders depend on the difficulty chosen. I wanted a challenge where I lose a fair amount of games but also get realistic stats. I didn't want to lose in a way where the CPU had completed nearly all of their passes with their running back averaging 10 yards per carry. It just wouldn't feel right. These are still being tested so please leave comments with issues in madden which you feel could be addressed as I am trying to perfect them for when I restart my franchise.

I really liked what Playmaker and whosnext00 did in regards to Madden 12 and their QBA Chart. It provided real quarterback performances and realism according to that players accuracy attributes. I have therefore attempted to do the same thing here with a few of my own tweaks as I am sick of seeing back up QB's pass for 80% completions. It is definitely harder to put together this year with the sliders at a default of 50 regardless of what difficulty you are set too.

QBA Chart with HUM/CPU WR Catch slider - These are updated to match the latest Rosters (I will update each week).

To find the QB accuracy slider total I took the QB's throwing accuracy, short, medium, deep and on the run. In our example of Tom Brady, his average between those 5 attributes is 86.6.

The Human operates the lower scale of that rating whilst the CPU uses the high end. So the Human Tom Brady would have a QBA of 13.4 but we round it so it should be set at 13. The CPU Tom Brady will have a QBA of 87 since we round 86.6.

The WR Catch is for both USER/CPU. I believe it is more realistic this way as the CPU's receivers feel the effect of their QB's accuracy. I recently tried this in a Vikings (Me) vs. Broncos (CPU) game, Ponder against Manning. It played beautifully. Manning was Manning making some nice throws to Thomas ect but occasionally missed the long pass which was nice to see since the DAC stat is his lowest accuracy rating. Ponder had a hard time against a good Denver D and found a lot of his passes inaccurate but still managed to whiz a few to his more talented receivers. He had more success on his deep ball in comparison to his medium throwing attempts.

Big shout out and thanks too whosnext00 for help with the QBA Chart, much appreciated.

After 1 season in your CFM you will have to do your own calculations for Rookie QB's ect and progressing/digressing QB's. THA is not viewable in CFM for some reason so use THP instead. It only takes a moment and here is an example on how you do that:

THP + SAC + MAC + DAC + RUN = 345
Divide the answer by 5 = 69.0
CPU Accuracy is the answer you get = 69 (Remember to round up/down)
HUM Accuracy is the difference from CPU too 100 = 31.0 (100-69)

For WR Catching HUM/CPU simply do 75 - HUM QB Accuracy
Example... 75 - 31 = 44 (This is the WR Catching for both HUM & CPU)

If you are not a fan of changing sliders after each game then simply use the Average QBA which is:

AVG 76.7/HUM 23/ CPU 77

QB AVG/ HUM / CPU - WR Catch is for both HUM/CPU

Sliders *Base* - This is just a beta type base set, I will update as I progress. It is far off finished but feel free to test it and leave any comments with your results or if you made any tweaks.

GAME OPTIONS
Skill Level - All-Madden
Game Speed - Slow
Quarter Length - 13-15 Minutes
Minimum Play Clock Time - 17 Seconds
Aids - Off (Optional)
Injuries - 55
Fatigue - 65 Fatigue (Use these Auto Subs by aholbert32)
Player Min Speed Threshold - 0

HUM | CPU

QBA - 23/77 (This is the AVG Quarterback accuracy which you can use if you do not want to change the sliders after each game. Or if you don't mind changing the sliders before each game you can continue to use the QBA Chart for both HUM/CPU settings. It is recommended that you use the chart, QB's play so much more realistic.)
Pass Block - 40/40
WR Catch- 52/52 (You can use 52/52 as this is the AVG if you do not want to change sliders each game but it is better to use the QBA Chart for WR Catching for both User/CPU. If you are controlling Brady whilst the CPU is controlling Brees then your WR Catching should be at 62 and theirs at 65.)

Run Block - 5/15 (This is good, most runs in the NFL are short yardage gains. You will have the right amount of mixed gains with this setting)
Fumbles - 25/25

Reaction Time - 0/25
Interceptions - 25/25
Pass Coverage - 45/55

Tackling - 15/5

Special Teams for both HUM/CPU
FG Power - 50
FG Accuracy - 45
Punt Power - 50
Punt Accuracy - 45
Kickoff Power - 60

Penalties - These are a big part of the NFL but they are broken in Madden and have been for a while. You will never get a realistic distribution of penalties but with these you should get a realistic amount.
Offside - 90
False Start - 92 (-3)
Holding - 90
Facemask - 53 (-2)
Defensive PI - 85
Offensive PI - 85
PR Interference - 85
Clipping - 62
INT Grounding - 65
or... (Use 65 which is the AVG if you do not want to change Sliders each game but if you do not mind then use this example: HUM QB Awareness + CPU QB Awareness = ..... <-- Divide that by 2 and set INT Grounding to the answer. i.e 94 + 84 = 178 / 2 = 89 Int Grounding)
Roughing the passer - 52
Roughing the kicker - 90

Re: TheSaints7' All Madden sliders w/ QBA CHART for realistic stats, ideal for Franch

Hey, dude. Love your sliders. They were the first ones I tried on M15 and they played pretty well except for the 'robo-QB' issue, which you're obviously trying to fix with this new set. I have a couple of questions:

1.) How is the WR catch calculated?

2.) Am I correct in understanding that these sliders (or, rather, the QBA and WRC) would change with each in-game week?

1.) WR Catch is calculated: CPU QBA - HUM/CPU Int = HUM/CPU Wr Catch (this is still being tested but I believe this is working well as of now.)
2.) The only sliders you would need to change before each game would be the CPU quarterback accuracy and CPU WR Catch. Of course this is because you will face a different QB each match. The only time you will need to change the HUM QBA and WR catch is when you change your starting QB.

Cant wait to try these they are in the ballpark of my AM playstyle. I hope you have a great balanced penalty set. After reading some threads it seems exteremely high or low penalty sliders WILL effect player aggressiveness. I hope theres a happy medium that can tone that down and still get a few calls here and there. Im excited man i do like the positives of playing ALLPRO but my hearts with AM

Re: TheSaints7' All Madden sliders w/ QBA CHART for realistic stats, ideal for Franch

Im playing as Miami vs New England and just saw Brady throw two bombs one on 2nd and 9 and completed it to Edelman over the shoulder for 42 yards! Nantz lost his mind! On New Englands next drive he threw about 35 yards downfield to LaFell which would've been caught but Brady just barely...WAIT FOR IT.....OVERTHREW him! He reached out and everything! Good numbers, good animations, sacks are good, nothing feels overpowered and im so happy to see the CPU playing smart. Im sticking with these only need some good penalty sliders and im sold. Finally! This the set ive been waiting for the rest were all close but these are money for me. Sorry for the excitement two months of slideritis has consumed my life. Ughhhhhhh thank you i knew you were onto something starting a new thread. Awesome sauce!

I love the qb chart and I used it in Madden 12...the downfall is that this is only good for play now because you cannot edit during a ccm. This is an aspect that I wish would be implemented back into this series, that and changing sliders within the game. Great job in developing these though!
