In the first game Romo went out halfway through the 2nd qtr and came back after halftime.

In the 2nd game I simmed the entire 4th qtr cause I was up on points so thats why cutler is 60 Pass attempts.

In game 3 it was a battle against a good Arizone D, the TD to Ginn was a 50 yard bomb and he outran Tramaine Brock. Out of all the sacks in the game Ive only accounted for 2 out of all 3 games...

Side note: Gore was beasting early in Game 2 and went down with an Injury, once Hyde stepped in it was hard to get a run game going.
Very intriguing indeed, I like the YPA but might be a bit high, 14ypa for Kaepernick and 11 for Palmer is pretty high, I'd expect maybe 8 or so based on the defenses playing.

So based on your box scores, I need to work on the following.

  • USER sacks seem to be out of hand. If you lower Offside and Roughing Passer, then you can mitigate the sack issue, however by doing so, you also destroy the run game if Offside is lower than False Start and Holding. It can also affect your comp% because QBs will have all day to throw. I'll have to dig in a little and figure this one out.
  • USER run game seems to be a bit over powered. Fixing this will fix the sack issue at the same time. Just need to figure out the combination for the sliders.
  • CPU run game needs a little tweaking. Even if you are the 49ers, I still expect Matt Forte to have a decent showing. 3.2 is abismal for him. However, I am happy with Andre Ellingtons avg, so what do you think? Does it feel like the run game needs adjusting?
  • Pass Distribution which derives from your DPI/OPI/IG looks incorrect, especially considering the teams that were playing. I don't want to see Jason Witten ever out-catch Dez Bryant, especially not 6 to 3. Frankly, I'm surprised your YPA was so high considering the pass distribution. Let me take a look and see what I can do about this issue.
  • It appears the CPU OL is rather weak judging from the pancakes. You might try adjusting False Start and Offside to control this. Above 75 with Offside well above False Start, you should notice the CPU getting pancakes but by doing this you also have to adjust Holding to balance the running game again. Holding should slightly below or same as Offsides.
  • For the USER, I didn't really see a standout tackler and there should always be one, preferably an LB. I'm not sure exactly how to control this, all I know is it depends on the combination of all the sliders, so you may have one combination where the USER and CPU have a standout tackler and another combination where they both or one of them have spread out tackles. I think this is going to be a stumble upon fix down the road by coincidence because we cannot control it by changing any specific sliders.
  • I noticed you run a lot which is fine cause you're the USER but the CPU ran very little in each game. This is a tendency that is set depending on the penalty sliders. Example: If I put Holding at 95 they will run a lot but if I put it at 90, they will pass a lot without changing any other sliders. Holding is only one example, this applies to numerous penalty sliders. Adjust at your leisure as some people prefer the NFL dependent on the run game and some on the pass game, it's totally up to you.
  • CPU is throwing too many INTs so this needs to be fixed which can be done with DPI/OPI at 10/10 because the separation has such a large gap but this might also boost the comp% by a lot. If you want to control INTs without messing with the skill sliders, then you will have to raise OPI above DPI by I'd say at least 20 points.
I think if you use the QBA avg instead of 66/66 then you won't get as much of an advantage. Based on your box scores, it looks like you were given an advantage over the CPU in numerous areas. This is also hard to define as I have change DPI to 55 and the CPU had a full advantage over me, then I change it to 45 and the USER has full advantage. I don't know how to fix this issue for you specifically. Then again it could just be a CFM confidence factor.

Well that's all I see for now, hopefully this little bit of information helps you and others. I will be taking a look at these issues myself and make the appropriate fixes, if any.

Well I was testing the 0/0 PB and RB sliders through the first few games as well as the 23/77 QBA sliders... I lowered RTP to 20, I had the OPI at 10 and DPI at 90, put DPI back down to 10.

Now I am using the QBA from that thread for KAP and Smith, changed the PB/RB back to 44 and 55.

So this was complete domination. Dysert was nearly perfect (not likely in real life lol) and I was able to pound the rock. I really like the rushing numbers. I had 153 yds but only a 4.4 avg and a long of 12. Good stuff there. That passing though. Still a fun game.

Re: whosnext00's Madden Sliders 15... Rated "E" for Everyone.

Just to be clear, and I realize that this has been brought up many times so sorry, a DPI/OPI setting of 90/10 would cause aggressive DB's and also aggressive WR's correct? For lack of a better term this could be referred to as the "DB/WR battle setting"?

Yes about the comp%, this is why I am converting the QBA over to the QBA average from the QBA chart. For user, the QBA will never be over 26 if you use the chart but the default anyway is 23/77. Give that a shot and if you liked the way the rest of the game played then I think you'll be happy with this last change.

A: Yes, that would be a good way to look at it.

@Steelers4190 - I'll be changing injuries to 51, hopefully that will solve the issue.

Re: whosnext00's Madden Sliders 15... Rated "E" for Everyone.

I have been thinking along the lines of how programmers may program the game, and that the programmers would use particular numbers that create more of an effect to the game while other numbers in between do little to nothing as they are not computed the same or mess with the game engine...

I have determined to trying settings of 100, 75, 50 and 25; those have long been the main slider numbers for years to determine game play - M15 separating the sliders between skill level, I assume, didn't result in a change of the key slider rating points...Yes? No? Am I way off?
