Re: Intentional Grounding Slider - the key to QB play

I have updated the OP with this information, but also wanted to add it here...

I totally neglected this thread, but wanted to provide some additional feedback here:

I am confident that for M15, the IG setting is solely dependent on three settings:
  1. The CPU QBA setting
  2. The threshold
  3. The difficulty level
The IG setting is directly proportional to the threshold and is inversely proportional to the CPU QBA setting and difficulty level. Also, there is a massive difference between All Madden and All Pro. For example, lowering a set from AM to AP (but keeping all other settings the same) can potentially require a jump in IG by 15-20 points.

So, on AllPro, what would be the optimum setting range for IG and QB Acc?

I play on All-Pro slow speed, with a 0 Threshold and QB accuracy at 10 for both the CPU and myself.

I have had IG at 10, but Josh suggested I go to 77. I have been testing this and playing with it and at first I was not so sure....but it is becoming more and more apparent he was on to something and so far so good. I am still playing with it in my 1989 32 team offline CFM and I will check back in with my thoughts.

That's really tough...for default All Madden....your setting is going to be fairly low, maybe in the 5-15 range.

Hey A&S....glad to hear you gave it another shot. If you see the QB consistently sitting back in the pocket too long trying to throw deep, bump it up to 78. I haven't played on your set for a while....but from what I remembered, 77 is very darn close.

So if the CPU qb sits there waiting for too long, bump up the int grounding?

IF, they are obviously trying to throw it deep and you have been seeing them throw deep, then yes...inch it up a point at a time.

IF they are moving around and just holding onto the ball....you have it way too low.

Thumbs up Re: Intentional Grounding Slider - the key to QB play

Awesome cheers. I've bumped CPU accuracy up to 4 and kept everything the same and still plays pretty well. Ryan I only sacked twice, brees I ran a train through but his line is really bad so think that might have played a part. He seemed like he just really wanted to go deep and only moved around when the pressure was on him. I'll try it at 58 and see how it plays.
Such a hard thing to gauge when your linemen are over 90 and their o line is mid 60s 70s. On a computer game that match up is only over going to turn out one way
