I'm running 10 min quarters with runoff to 18 (when it actually works)

All-Pro

I've moved pass accuracy down to 47
WR catch to 47
Run blocking to 55

Pass coverage - 55
Pass def reaction - 52


I've moved up all penalties to 53 and have been seeing a good amount of holding

These are just tests right now. I still need to run a lot more games.

These are also for CFM user vs user games

I personally test from career mode so yes I do use one team, but as I've mentioned it's pretty important to use a middle of the road team just to keep things balanced.

For anyone who has already started testing I have one question. How is the drive goals bug where the ratings are going way up affecting your testing? I'm curious because when I go to start testing aren't my results going to be skewed because my players became superhuman?

Yeah, I would assume one have to test in Play Now and not Franchise Mode (or whatever they call the mode now), due to such things as confidence. Don't you want to have as few variables as possible when testing these sliders out?

Personally, I take an average team and (say the Chargers) and play that same team (Chargers) in a series of Play Now games, and once the games are tight contests, with realistic stats, I know my sliders are solid.

Yeah I always thought that play now played a little different than cfm. I could be wrong though.

It did, but according to EA's people the issue that caused that has been resolved...


I can't remember where I heard/read that, but I remember being pretty stoked about it because it means easier testing than the previous process.

Personally I like the variables.. Me along with half of my league have been testing as much as we can. The variables will give us a true indicator of how the sliders will play in CFM.. As far as the drive goal issue, we aren't far enough along to have that really affect us as well as there haven't been blowouts that have made everything go haywire. So far so good
