As A&S says, it allows for the true talent of the players on the field to decide the outcome, not YOUR talent level with a DB or WR.
Even using the no switch rule, I've gotten a few picks with my user controlled safety.
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation Style Sliders
I have 1 more question, when EA releases weakly roster updates do they change automatically in CFM mode or do ratings stay the same until you restart to new CFM?
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation Style Sliders
Ok I have started 32 team control CFM, played my first game with NE-PIT 41-0 (yes a blowout) game was beautiful no matter the score it was realistic and stats were very real, Pittsburgh just had a bad game I guess and I played beautiful defense maybe best ever so far, I was 17-0 3:45 before halftime, Pittsburgh had the ball in my red zone, Big Ben threw to Brown who catches the ball and fumbles it 3 yards on my goal line I picked it up and returned it all the way for TD I think I broke their will to play totally after that play going 24-0 to half time they really didn't bother to catch me at all Ben threw 2 more interceptions in 4th and just gave up after passing for 195 yards and 3 interceptions Bell rushed 18 times for 61 they just gave up..great game on to my next one.
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation (15 Min Quarters) Style Sliders
Don't have the box scores for these last two games, but am continuing my Week 1 season from the post back a page or 2...These sliders continue to work like a charm at producing different games and different feels, but also realistic results every time.
Played as the Browns on the road against the Jets and lost 17-16 on a late field goal. Both teams very sloppy through the air, but the ground game was working for both. Still, a lot of punts and changing field position.
Played as the Bills at home against the Colts, started the game off well, but Tyrod Taylor threw a couple of picks and Andrew Luck played very well leading Indy to a 27-21 win. A couple very realistic things happened in the game...Had a big 4th down in the beginning of the 4th Q as the Bills, got the 1st but it was called back on holding, had to punt on 4th and 12. 3rd and very long for the Colts late in the game as I (the Bills) was trying to hold on for a last second chance to tie it...Luck gets flushed from the pocket, breaks out of a sack attempt and throws mid run back foot to Colby Fleener for a 30 yard completion to basically ice the game. Was crazy.
Either way, the finals I've had so far 31-17, 38-28, 24-21, 17-16, 27-21. Pretty great.
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation (15 Min Quarters) Style Sliders
Been using these sliders throughout this entire CFM so far on 12 min. quarters, I have had some great games and I'm a lot more impressed with the sliders this year than I was with Madden 15 (which is great because I really enjoyed those, too). Playing a (healthy) Dallas Cowboys CFM along with the pace of the actual NFL season, so I just played what will probably be one of the toughest games of the season in Week 5 against the Gronk-less CPU Patriots.
I could not get anything going at all to start the game and didn't pick up a first down until late in the first half, it felt like the Pats held the ball for nearly all of the first half and my defense did not have an answer for much of anything. I benched Joseph Randle in the second half and, although it seemed to help having Christine Michael in his place, it was too little too late. I have yet to decide whether or not I will stick with Randle as starter. He has done a decent job over the course of the season with 98 runs for 392 yds (4.0 avg), 6 TDs and 0 fumbles, while Michael has done a great job when he has had the chance, with 24 runs for 164 yds (6.8 avg), 2 TDs and 0 fumbles.
No real complaints or suggestions as far as the sliders are concerned. I've already had a blowout victory, a couple close wins, and a blowout loss in this CFM using these sliders. Definitely been interesting so far!
Note: Penalties listed below are in penalty yards, obviously, not total # of penalties committed by each team.

So I've finished (for now) my roster/depth chart tool. Basically what it allows you to do is plug in your roster (by position), along with all important attributes(by position), and be able to add your own weighted value(percentage) on each attribute. Essentially what Madden does with player schemes but tailored specifically to what you value in each position. Much more detailed (also time consuming but I enjoy it and am sure some of you do to). I put a quick how to on the "QB Tab". All sheets are protected (to not mess up formulas) however there is no password required to unprotect for those who would like to edit or adjust things to their liking. The first 3 tabs of the workbook were created for other stuff (32 team control set in Armor & Swords slider thread) and are not necessary to this part. Let me know if you guys like it. I will probably start my own thread soon but I just wanted to get it out.
Got around to creating my own thread for this. Just a fyi.
