Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation (15 Min Quarters) Style Sliders

I only played one game with these sliders tonight. The game ended up playing alright until late in the game when the CPU kinda seemed to give up.

Brees and the Saints never really attempted to open up the passing game until about midway through the 3rd quarter when the game was already pretty one-sided.

I'm gonna play a few more games over the weekend, but even after this first one I can say I really enjoy these sliders. Great work, man.

Played 10 min quarters in Play Now and it played parfectly!

Bengals (me) vs. Bucs

I win 20-17

Winston - 19/32 for 305 yds, 2TD & 1 INT
Dalton - 9/18 for 104 yds, 0 TD & 0 INT

Martin - 12 rushes, 55yds
Hill - 24 rushes, 143yds

It was 10-10 at the half, and then our run game lit up. Bucs had no answer for it. Didn't feel as if I was able to run on them because of sliders. Good blocking, and I just kept pounding them with runs up the middle, and turned to PA here and there.

Fun game. Great first game.

I have a few questions:

1. How do you change speed threshold in CFM? Or do you have to set it before you create it?
2. Do you let the computer choose plays for you on offense and/or defense to make it more challenging?
3. Do these sliders play differently on play now than they do in CFM?

Well, I played three really fun games last night during my Twitch stream. Solid variety of defensive struggles and solid offensive games. However, a couple of things:

• Still not sold on 25 threshold. It seems that this year, instead of a lower threshold speeding up fast players, it is slowing down slow players even more. There are times I saw where pocket passers (e.g. Ryan Mallett) or linemen running like they were stuck in quicksand...it was painfully slow. When I tested at 40 thresh, I did not see it - but there were moments on breakaway plays where fast players could not finish-off the long run. I'm going to be looking at 35 thresh this afternoon.
• Game speed (slow v. normal). Slow speed is terrific from an animation perspective. However, the CPU run game feels so much more in-sync at normal - I can't put my finger on it - maybe it's like previous years where the AI is more in-sync with animations at normal.
• Injury slider still feels low to me at 60 - which is awesome compared to last year where anything above 50 and QBs went out left-and-right. I'm seeing about 2-3 injuries per game, which is OK....but I'd like to get it up to the 4-5 range....
• Seeing a crapload of block in the back calls....
• Probably a personal adjustment....but User QBA feels a tad too good at 45, I think I prefer 40 a bit better.

I'm going to fiddle around with just the threshold for now - 35 does feel pretty good so far.

I can answer two for u. Speed threshold is in the slider menu. It's in the middle by injuries and fatigue.

The do play different in play now and cfm. Mainly fatigue, auto subs, and injuries. But also the progression glitch that is in cfm isn't present in play now. That's not saying u can't try these in play now because some have said they are playing and it's playing great. But Armor has only played and tested these in cfm.

As for question 2, I don't know how Armor plays exactly, but I use suggested plays for offense because I like feeling like the coach sends in the plays. On defense I pick my own plays however because the suggestion logic seems flawed. To many time when the offense goes to 3 or 4 receiver set it still wants to call a standard 3-4/4-3 formation. Not trying to have my LB line up on a slot WR. Just my 2 cents.

I agree on the threshold. It really does seem like it just slows down slow players even more. I was playing KC and Travis Kelce got wide open in the middle, CPU threw him the ball and then it was like he was in slow motion. I'm going to try bumping up to 35 as well.

Played one cfm game and several play now games last night with various teams and match ups. Had some very fun games with great animations and I think they play great, almost perfect in play now using 10 min qtrs. thanks Armor!
