Not a great game. Fitzpatrick and Marshall were injured coming into the game, and Geno was being Geno.
Balls were flying all over the place for the Jets, with the occasional dropped pass turning into an INT. Five interceptions for Geno.. Haden and Whitner had everything covered and I couldn't get anything started.
I'm liking the WR Catching at 65.
Any other recommendations?
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation (15 Min Quarters) Style Sliders
I've found these sliders after about five games to be dope! Added with a few tweaks I can't wait til the patch drops.
I found two workarounds for the current bug messing all our CFMs up! They work for me at least.
One, I know people are gonna roll an eye at me but some possessions I just straight punt the ball away after a play or two. I know that kind of messes things up but it didn't mess with my game overall.
For instance, I played against the Cardinals and I was the Bears. I traded for Jameis Winston and I got him to go off! He was 34 for 42 with 367 3 TDs Part of it was because Arizona made it a focus to not let my running game go wild. Winston's rating along with everyone else on offense did not have some steroid-like jump in ratings! I won the game 31-10!
My other workaround is to make the sliders tougher! I kind of adjust them based on opponent.
For instance, when I played the Seahawks I upped reaction time and pass coverage to 95 and lowered my pass blocking to I think 25 or 30 and man Seattle's defense made Jameis look how he looked last night against Cleveland.
Overall thank you Armor for the base! I know others are not going to want to just give away a possession or tweak the sliders because the base set plays great! But they have made this years version a fun time so far!
Re: Armor & Sword's All Pro Custom Simulation (15 Min Quarters) Style Sliders
Armor,
Great sliders so far. I was skeptical at first because I thought they would be on the easier side. I've had trouble the past couple of years trying to determine where I fall. I find All-Pro a little on the easier side and All-Madden a little too hard. Since I am waiting for the patch for CFM mode I decided to jump in a test CFM with the Jags and test things out. Here are the results from my first game in Week 1 against the Panthers.

Early on things seemed a little easy but its like the CPU turned on a switch and started making the right plays. I did suffer 2 injuries. A major blow to HB D.Robinson who suffered a Pectoral Tear and is out 24 weeks. The other was a boneheaded play on my part where instead of throwing the ball away with Bortles I tried to do too much and got hit with under a minute of play in the 4th. He suffered a Dislocated Elbow and is out the next 5 weeks. A rusty C.Henne came in and threw 3 incompletions to end the game.
I am going to stick with these same sliders for the next few games and see where it leads me. I will post the results for you. Thanks!

I think the speed differential is just too much. It's causing offensive separation to become way too dominant. Human QB accuracy might be a bit too strong.

Do what you want. But keep in mind football is a dynamic sport where you should be getting different outcomes across the board, as long as they stay within a certain range. There should be out-liners at times but not all the time. With that being said I strongly suggest you play a minimum of 5 games with a certain set and then reevaluate. Keep a few notes on what you see or may want to change. If you're not sure you can always ask the community for suggestions. But playing one game and trying to change something will lead to sliderites and this game is so good this year it's not worth it. I just want people to enjoy it. We've had so many years of non stop tinkering to try to make this game playable that I think we are over analyzing this years version. Because EA did a pretty damn good job this year. So to summarize, play some games with the base A&S set (or whatever set you want to use) to get a good feel and then tweak to your skill level. But the 5 games minimum is a must in my book because you need the extra data to analyze what you're seeing. 1-2 games is just not enough.
Excellent advice. Give these sliders some time guys, your going to like where they take this game
