Was wondering if you have ever tried out (or considered using) the FBG rosters with your slider set....

I highly recommend using an EA roster, as no one truly understands the balance of the most recent patches and how they deal with XP, confidence, and draft classes.

I prefer to start with a Week 1 NFL roster myself, from EA.

Another great game, this time agains the 7-1 Saints (this is the 2016 season in my franchise):



Brees had over 200 yards at halftime, so I made some adjustments defensively and really put the clamp down on them in the second half. I had two fumbles that really ended up being the difference in the game. One was near the end zone on an attempted hurdle, the other was this one by my rookie backup running back after Jamaal Charles went down with a hip injury earlier in the game:



The only thing I would even consider changing at this point is the CPU Run Blocking slider. I feel like I get far too many tackles behind the line of scrimmage, as evidenced here:



Otherwise, these are playing outstanding for me. Thanks for your work!

If you read through earlier posts in this thread, you'll see that TFL is probably the hardest (working) stat to get right. TFL numbers come at the expense of getting YPC, 20+ runs, and broken tackle stats in-line.

It's too bad the simulation engine isn't a bit better. The longest run in most games is usually 8-12 yards. But, I love your idea of building the sliders around how the sim stats are coming out, so I guess I will have to live with it.

At season's end, you won't see a ton of 20+ runs in simulated games either, but that's true to real life.

I've had a 76 yarder with Abdullah, and he's had chances for others too. He's also had some long screen pass scores too. You can definitely see a difference with a HR hitter kind of guy like Abdullah versus a Joique Bell.
