Quick Overview
*Solo Online CFM (custom XP Sliders)
*All-Pro
*10 minutes quarters (working auto subs, situationally sub in your RBs)
*No switch (recommend not being a pass rusher as it's too easy to get user sacks)
*Auto catch only
*Consistently evaluated and adjusted for added realism and accuracy against simulated CFM games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, everyone, and thanks for checking this slider set out!
The goal of this set is to use data collection and analysis to work toward finding a slider set that matches the output of simulated CFM games (and hopefully real life).
I've done beta testing for OOTP baseball since 2008, as well as testing for Grey Dog Software. I've done a similar slider set for MLB The Show 15, and I also do a lot of QA testing in my career.
I try to be thorough in my settings and adjustments to provide a realistic and challenging set, even if that means I go 5-11 sometimes (my baseball sliders had my team within 2 games of their real life counterpart through August).
I'm not a believer in locking in a slider set and never readjusting. Instead, I look for ways to have the game fluctuate along with my gradual improvements which are inevitable.
I'm not aiming for every game to be some sort of perfect script, and I love seeing results others get from this set as well.

I did a live stream of a simulated season in which I noted the following. While we all know CFM has issues and concerns which are being looked into, it seems there may be a few more that while not complete gamebreakers, the Madden team should be looking into:
Injuries
Granted, I didn't examine this on a week-to-week basis, but at season's end, there were a total of 52 injuries throughout the league. Divide that by 32 teams and we seem an average of 1.625 injuries per team at end of year. That's far too low and the injury slider does not affect this while simming. There were also about 10 season ending injuries (9-10 weeks or more remaining) which was also low. In comparing these totals against what a real NFL team's injury sheet looks like at this time of year, I'd say it's probably about an 80% reduction in what we should be seeing. Small sample size, perhaps, so if others are seeing something else, please do share.

3 blocked kicks throughout the entire league, although kickers show a lot more that were blocked. Obviously something isn't adding up here.
Touchbacks are simulating to be around 20-25% of kickoffs as a high. This is something to keep in mind to ensure we're not the only team booting the ball for touchbacks every single kickoff.

Additional Notes/House Rules to Consider
The AI does not seem to fire a coach until week 18. No biggie, but something to keep in mind if you're worried about gaining an advantage.
No position changes were listed throughout the league by season's end. Again, just something else to keep in mind if you're looking to avoid any special advantages over the AI teams.
Awesome to see. Cant wait. Will you be streaming games like you did with The Show?
I will. I'm actually going to start by simulating a franchise season and tracking the average number of penalties, etc. I'll post that info in the second post in this thread to use to compare.
If folks would like, I could stream/discuss that simulation as I know most people are streaming MUT and pack openings. Sounds like a blast (/sarcasm).

Ya, that would be cool. Im working till 7 LOL, so I have nothing else to do. Something OTHER THEN MUT would be great to see. Not a big MUT fan here.
