WEEK 1 - Pittsburgh Steelers @ New England Patriots
The Steelers opened the scoring as they moved the ball downfield before settling for a FG after the drive stalled deep in Patriots territory. New England controlled the rest of the first half as Brandon Bolden was over 70 yards rushing with a TD in the first half and Tom Brady had a pair of TD passes to Amendola and Gronk as the Patriots had a 21-3 lead at halftime. Things went from bad to worse for Pittsburgh in the 3rd quarter as Le'Veon Bell fumbled on each of their first two drives after Steelers had moved the ball effectively and the Patriots turned it into 10 points on a FG and a 33 yard TD pass from Brady to Amendola who caught the ball in stride on a post to increase the Patriots lead to 31-3. Pittsburgh finally got into the end zone late in the 3rd quarter as they drove the ball down the field and Roethlisberger hit Martavis Bryant for a 15 yard TD pass to cut the Patriots lead to 31-10 heading into the 4th quarter. New England chewed up some clock on the ensuing drive and Gostkowski kicked a 32 yard FG to make it a 34-10 game with 8:28 remaining. There would be no more scoring in the game as the Patriots open the season with an impressive victory over the Steelers by a score of 34-10.
* The game could have been much closer if not for a pair of crucial fumbles by Le'Veon Bell in the 3rd quarter that allowed the Patriots to put the game away
* Brandon Bolden got the bulk of the carries for New England with LeGarrette Blount suspended for week 1 and Bolden rushed for 95 yards on 22 carries with a TD.
* Pittsburgh signed Ray Rice who made his return to the NFL and Rice got 3 carries for 14 yards in his return
* Pittsburgh also signed troubled LB Aldon Smith who was released by the 49ers and Smith had 8 tackles with a half sack in his Steelers debut
* Tom Brady completed 75% of his passes for 242 yards and threw 3 TD passes as he tries to put deflate gate behind him
* Danny Amendola caught 2 balls in the game and both went for TDs as he caught a short in cut for a 6 yard TD in the 2nd quarter and then beat his man on a post route for a 33 yard strike in the 3rd quarter as Brady lofted a perfect pass to Amendola who caught the ball in stride for the TD.
* The Patriots will visit old rival Rex Ryan and the new look Buffalo Bills next week for a big early season test for the Patriots as they will head into a hostile environment in Buffalo. The Bills started out 1-0 with a 31-17 victory at home against the Colts.

I've used your baseball ones and they're the best.
Can't wait to fire up a 'Chise with these. How have your testing results been? You obviously satisfied with this set enough to release it?
Much like in MLB The Show......I'm striving for realism with good variety....I've been too busy to be posting boxscores for every testing game. Sometimes I would just play a half and I tried to use different teams to see how they feel with different teams & playbooks and I came away satisfied. Sometimes I would get my head kicked in, sometimes I would beat up on the opponent, but most games were close and competitive with variety.
So yeah......definitely good enough to release and begin my Patriots franchise
Anyone else notice the visual settings, such as turning off the tackle indicator, don't save and you have to adjust them once you begin an actual game every single time?

Yes it happens to me as well. Real annoying. You can pause the game and turn it off AGAIN under the visual settings.
The amount of plays run by both teams was perfect. The game felt very realistic. I know Tyrod Taylor had a huge game but I don't want to critique the passing until I play another game.
I owned Andrew Luck in the 1st half but he got it going a bit more in the 2nd half. They ran the ball down my throat all game.
Hi, I used your sliders a few years ago in the show and they made for probably the best gameplay I've ever had in a sports game.
I was using these for Madden a lot before the patch and was getting really good games out of them. I used them on normal speed, not "very slow" How are they playing post patch? Also, is your franchise online or offline?
