Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

I'm surprised these aren't getting more love. These sliders have been awesome for me through 4 games. Still playing them on normal instead of very slow, but the games have been a blast so far.

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

I haven't been able to find a slider set that is comfortable for Madden 16. I usually use Versuz sliders, but I'm not happy with his All Madden sliders this year. It's too easy to run the ball, man coverage is worthless, and CPU receivers can't catch the ball. Seriously, any WR with an overall under, like, 75 is incapable of catching the football. I tried using those sliders in preseason games, and the CPU teams were incapable of moving the ball after the first quarter because their backup receivers dropped EVERY pass. Had to switch back to default.

I'll try these sliders later this week, but I'm skeptical of any sliders set that has the same settings for AI and CPU. In my past experience, that's always been a recipe for flagrant A.I. cheating. Hopefully they work well for me.

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

I have a question about these sliders:
Is this slider set designed simply to create player and team stats on par with real life NFL stats?
Or is it intended to create more realistic play in terms of eliminating player shifting, physics clipping, psychic players, procedural awareness locks, etc?
Or both?

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

Had an amazing game last night in Week 5

The Patriots (me) were 3-0 and coming off the bye week as they traveled to Dallas to face the Cowboys who were 3-1 on the year. The game was close throughout as the Patriots trailed 34-31 late in the 4th quarter as they moved into the red zone and were on the verge of tying the game with a FG or potentially scoring a game winning TD when Brady tried to force a ball to Gronkowski that was picked off and returned for a pick six TD by Sean Lee to give the Cowboys a 41-31 lead with just over 3:00 to play.

New England took the ball on the following possession and Brady hit Dion Lewis deep down the sideline after he had swung out of the backfield in motion and the Patriots elected to kick a 46 yard FG on 1st down to save time and try to get the ball back as they now trailed 41-34. The Cowboys recovered the onside kick attempt and took over with less than 2:00 to play. The Patriots used their remaining 2 time outs and came up with a big stop on 3rd down to force the Cowboys to punt the ball away. The Patriots were out of time outs and took over on their own 11 yard line with 0:52 to play. Brady hit Gronkowski and Edelman to get some yardage and get out of bounds and stop the clock before Brady fired a perfectly placed ball up the seam to Gronkowski who was tackled at the Cowboys 6 yard line as Brady hurried his team to the line to spike the ball and stop the clock with 0:05 remaining. New England had one final play to try and tie the game and Brady fired a dart to Gronkowski in the end zone for the game tying TD on the final play of regulation to force overtime.

The Patriots methodically moved the ball down the field on the opening possession of overtime and Brady capped off the thrilling comeback with his 4th TD throw to Gronk in the game to give the Patriots a 47-41 victory

Brady finished 41 of 59 passing for 575 yards with 6 TD & 2 INT
Romo threw for 284 with 2 TD passes

Joseph Randle rushed for 178 for Dallas with a long run of 71 yards
LeGarrette Blount ran for 91 yards on 21 carries for the Pats

Rob Gronkowski caught 14 balls for 191 yards with 4 TD receptions
Julian Edelman caught 9 balls for 103 yards
Dion Lewis caught 5 balls out of the backfield for 104 yards
Cole Beasley led Dallas with 6 catches for 83 yards and a TD
Jason Whitten and Dez Bryant each caught 5 balls for Dallas

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

WEEK 6 - New England Patriots (4-0) @ Indianapolis Colts (2-3)

The Patriots come in to Indianapolis undefeated at 4-0 after a thrilling come from behind overtime victory in Dallas in Week 5. The Colts have disappointed thus far in the season as they enter the game with a record of 2-3. Indianapolis opened the scoring on the games opening drive as they drove the ball downfield before the drive stalled and the Colts settled for a FG to take a 3-0 lead. The Patriots put together a long drive on their first possession and were in the red zone when Brady scrambled out of the pocket to gain a first down but was stripped from behind at the 5 yard line by Robert Mathis and the Colts would recover the ball. The 2nd quarter would begin with the Colts in the red zone and Frank Gore would cap off a 13 play drive with a 14 yard TD run to give the Colts a 10-0 lead. The Patriots were trailing 10-0 midway through the 2nd quarter when the defense stepped up and made a big play as Chandler Jones destroyed Andrew Luck on a sack knocking the ball loose and Jamie Collins picked up the fumble and returned it 39 yards for a defensive TD to get the Patriots on the board and cut the Colts lead to 10-7. The play could also have huge implications on Indianapolis playoff hopes as Luck was injured on the play and was forced to leave the game (Luck is expected to miss 6 weeks with a herniated disk). Matt Hasselbeck took over at QB for the Colts after the injury to Luck and the Patriots defense made another huge play on the ensuing possession as Jamie Collins caused a fumble when he lit up Frank Gore who was running off tackle, Jabaal Sheard picked up the fumble and returned it to the Indianapolis 9 yard line where the Patriots offense would take over. The Patriots failed to move the ball on their first two plays setting up a 3rd & goal from the 5 yard line and Brady would hit Scott Chandler on an in cut for a TD pass as the Patriots turned a 10-0 deficit into a 14-10 lead in the blink of an eye to silence the Indianapolis crowd. The Patriots would get the ball back again just before the 2:00 warning and Brady would march the offense down the field into scoring range. Brady completed a pass to Chandler who made a terrific leaping catch on a highly thrown ball before he got laid out on the 1 yard line and suffered an injury on the play forcing him to leave the game. LeGarrette Blount pounded the ball in from the 1 yard line with 0:37 to play in the half to increase the New England lead to 21-10. The Colts got an enormous play on the first snap of their possession as Hasselbeck hit a short out route to Donte Moncrief who broke out of a tackle and made a defender miss as he took off down the sideline before finally being caught at the New England 3 yard line for a 66 yard gain. Hasselbeck would hit Griff Whalen in the back of the end zone on the very next play for a TD as the Colts go 69 yards on two plays to take back momentum and cut the Patriots lead to 21-17 heading into halftime

The Patriots moved the ball across midfield on the opening drive of the 2nd half before a poor decision by Brady when he tried to force a ball over the middle to Edelman and was intercepted by D'Qwell Jackson for a big turnover. The defenses for both teams stepped up and played well in the 3rd quarter as neither team was able to put points on the board. The Patriots put together a nice drive though and were moving the ball deep into Colts territory as the 3rd quarter came to a close. The 4th quarter would begin with New England in the red zone with the ball on the Colts 7 yard line. Brady would make a perfect pass to Edelman on a timing route on the first play of the 4th quarter as Edelman ran a slant and Brady fired a bullet where only Edelman could catch it for a big TD to push the Patriots lead to 28-17. Indianapolis went 3 & out on their next drive when Hightower made a fantastic tackle to stop Gore just inches shy of a first down after he broke through the line and the Colts decided to punt instead of going for it on their own 31 yard line. The Patriots put together a 13 play drive on their next possession, chewing up come clock and Brady finished off the drive with a 7 yard TD pass to Amendola to increase the lead to 35-17 with 6:13 to play. Indy wouldn't go quietly though as Matt Hasselbeck hit Colby Fleener for a 58 yard gain on the ensuing Colts possession to move the Colts into the red zone. The Colts had 1st & goal at the Patriots 1 yard line with about 3:00 remaining but the New England goal line defense stuffed the Colts on 3 straight rush attempts moving them back to 3 yard line for 4th & goal and Jerod Mayo would knock down the pass attempt to Fleener as the Patriots make a great goal line stand to force a turnover on downs. New England would run the clock out as Brady would take a few kneel downs and the Patriots come away with a 35-17 victory to improve to 5-0 on the season.

PLAY OF THE GAME: The Patriots were trailing 10-0 and the Colts were playing a great game until Chandler Jones knocked Andrew Luck out of the game with a huge sack midway through the 2nd quarter. Luck fumbled on the play and the Patriots would get a defensive touchdown which sucked the life out of the Colts and led to New England scoring 21 unanswered points late in the first half to take a lead that they would never relinquish

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

WEEK 7 - New York Jets (2-3) @ New England Patriots (5-0)

The Patriots and Jets played a tough, physical first half that saw the Patriots jump out to a 9-0 lead after the 1st quarter as Brady hit Gronkowski in the corner of the end zone for a TD to make it 7-0. The Jets were pinned deep in their own territory after a great punt out of bounds by Ryan Allen and Dont'a Hightower came bursting up the middle on a blitz and sacked Fitzpatrick in the end zone for a safety to make it 9-0. Both defenses were playing well in the first half as Brady was picked off twice by the Jets and Patrick Chung had a pair of interceptions for the Patriots. The Jets got on the board late in the 2nd quarter as they drove the ball down the field and Fitzpatrick capped off the drive with a TD pass to Jeff Cumberland to make the score 9-7. The Patriots moved the ball into the red zone at the end of the 2nd quarter before the drive stalled and they settled for a FG from Gostkowski to increase the Patriots lead to 12-7 as the teams went to the locker rooms at half time.

The Jets got to midfield on the opening drive of the 2nd half before being forced to punt and Ryan Quigley got off a beautiful punt that took a perfect hop and died at the Patriots 3 yard line where it was touched by the Jets to pin the Patriots deep in their own territory. The New England offensive line did a great job as the Patriots came out and ran the ball 5 straight plays and Dion Lewis busted loose for a 18 yard gain that moved the Patriots out to their own 43 yard line to take back field position. Rob Gronkowski was nicked up on the drive and forced to leave with an injury that doesn't appear serious and he should return to the game at some point. The Patriots continued to move the ball down field with a good mix of runs and passes and Brady capped off the 97 yard drive with a play action pass to reserve tight end Michael Williams for the TD to increase the Patriots lead to 19-7 midway through the 3rd quarter. The 3rd quarter came to a close with the Patriots on the move but their drive would stall around midfield and they were forced to punt the ball back to the Jets with 12:39 remaining. The Jets started to move the chains and were out to the 50 yard line before Fitzpatrick threw his 3rd interception of the game as McCourty made the pick to give the ball back to the Patriots with under just over 9:00 remaining and New England leading 19-7. Dion Lewis was injured on the the Patriots drive but Brady would lead the offense on an outstanding drive as they moved the ball all the way down the field and then hit Gronkowski on play action on 2nd & goal from the 1 yard line for a TD pass to put the game away as the Patriots now had a 26-7 lead with 5:40 to play. Fitzpatrick made several good throws to lead the Jets on a scoring drive that ended with a TD pass to Eric Decker to cut the Patriots lead to 26-14 with just over a minute to play. The Jets attempted an onside kick that was recovered by the Patriots who would take over. LeGarrette Blount pounded the ball up the middle for some good gains as the Jets used their timeouts and Brady would run out the clock by taking a knee on the final few plays as the Patriots win a hard fought game 26-14 to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Re: TNK - Madden NFL 16 (All-Pro Realism Sliders)

PATRIOTS FRANCHISE

WEEK 8 - Miami Dolphins (4-2) @ New England Patriots (6-0)

The Patriots opened the scoring with a FG on their opening drive to take a 3-0 lead. The Dolphins hit a big play on their opening drive as Tannehill threw a perfect pass in stride to Kenny Stills who went 61 yards for a TD to give Miami a 7-3 lead. The Patriots moved the ball down the field on their next possession before the drive stalled in the red zone and they were forced to settle for a FG to make it a 7-6 game. Miami got a perfectly placed 58 yard punt from Matt Darr late in the quarter to pin the Patriots back on their own 2 yard line and the first quarter would come to a close with Miami leading 7-6. The Patriots were forced to punt after moving the ball out to midfield but Jarvis Landry couldn't hang on to the fair catch and the ball was recovered by the Patriots who would take over on the Miami 22 yard line. The Patriots would take the lead on a 4 yard TD run by Blount to give New England a 13-7 lead. The Patriots would add to their lead on their next possession when Dion Lewis took a perfectly executed screen pass from Brady and used his blockers to get into the open field and went 58 yards down the sideline to make it a 20-7 game with just over 5:00 left in the first half. Tannehill led the Dolphins on an excellent drive late in the 2nd quarter but Greg Jennings was stopped at the 2 yard line after catching a pass on 3rd down and the Dolphins would have to settle for a FG to send the game to halftime with New England leading 20-10

* Ryan Tannehill had a terrific first half for Miami as he completed 15 of 21 passes for 234 yards and 1 TD
* Kenny Stills had a monster first half for Miami as he caught 6 balls for 140 yards and 1 TD

The Dolphins had the ball to begin the 3rd quarter and they came out with another impressive drive on offense as they systematically moved the ball down the field and Tannehill capped off the drive with a perfect back shoulder throw to Jarvis Landry for a 13 yard TD pass to cut the New England lead to 20-17. The Patriots moved the ball out to midfield on the ensuing drive before failing to convert on 3rd down and punting the ball back to Miami. The Dolphins went 3 & out on their possession as Rob Ninkovich had a big sack and a false start penalty put the Dolphins in a tough 3rd & long that they could not convert and they were forced to punt back to the Patriots. Tom Brady led the Patriots on a scoring drive highlighted by a leaping one handed grab by Scott Chandler for a 36 yard gain that would lead to a Gostkowski FG with 0:32 remaining in the 3rd quarter to push the Patriots lead to 6 points as the 3rd quarter would come to a close with New England leading 23-16. The stage was set for an exciting finish to this game as the 4th quarter began with Miami on offense trailing 23-16. Tannehill made several big throws on the drive to move the Dolphins down the field and into the red zone. Lamar Miller picked up a first down with a run up the middle to set up a 1st & goal at the Patriots 8 yard line for Miami. A couple more running plays would setup a HUGE 3rd & goal from the 3 yard line and Tannehill hit Dion Sims in the back of the end zone but the pass was incomplete as Sims was unable to hang on to the ball. Miami coach Joe Philbin made the bold decision to go for it on 4th & goal from the 3 yard line instead of taking the field goal with 9:35 remaining and the gusty call paid off as Lamar Miller took the hand off and was hit at the 1 yard line by Allen Branch but was able to fight his way across the goal line for a big TD to give the Dolphins a 24-23 lead with 9:32 left to play. Tom Brady led the Patriots offense out to midfield on the ensuing drive but Edelman had the ball jarred loose on a 3rd down pass attempt and could not hang on setting up a 4th down & 4 from their own 49 yard line with 5:26 left to play and Bill Belichick decided to punt it away. Ryan Allen got off a decent punt but Jarvis Landry was able to gain a few yards on the return and Miami would take over with the ball on their own 21 yard line and 5:17 remaining. Tannehill completed a huge pass on 3rd down & 7 to Rishard Matthews to pick up a 1st down with 3:58 left and the clock ticking away. The Dolphins would convert another big 3rd down throw as Tannehill fired a strike over the middle to Sims for a gain of 13 and give Miami a new set of downs as we reached the two minute warning. The Patriots stuffed Miller on 1st & 2nd downs and had to use their final two timeouts, Miami would run again on 3rd down for a short gain to keep the clock moving as New England was out of timeouts. The Dolphins punted the ball away and it would roll into the end zone for a touch back giving the ball back to the Patriots who would take over at their own 20 yard line. Tom Brady would lead the Patriots offense on to the field trailing 24-23 with exactly 1:00 left on the clock and no timeouts. Brady threw incomplete on the first two plays of the drive before hitting Edelman over the middle for a first down and the Patriots would rush to the line and spike the ball to stop the clock with 0:34 remaining. Brady hit Gronkowski on the next play for a gain of about 20 yards and again they had to spike the ball and stop the clock with 0:18 left to play and the ball on the Miami 45 yard line. The Patriots come back bid came to a crashing hault on the next play as Brady dropped back to pass and was crushed from behind by Olivier Vernon who knocked the ball loose on the sack and the fumble was recovered by Derrick Shelby to give the ball back to the Dolphins with 0:12 left. Tannehill would take a knee and the Dolphins win a thriller in New England to hand the Patriots their first loss of the season 24-23.

* This was the most exciting game of Madden I have played in years

* The Dolphins hand the Patriots their first loss of the season and are going to make things interesting in the AFC East as Miami improves to 5-2 and are just 1 game back of the Patriots who fall to 6-1
