Decided to test out the blue sliders before i went back to college, my defense is no where near where it use to be. I had this game won, i was at the giants 30 with 2 min left and instead of running out the clock i tried to achieve my drive goal of scoring a touchdown, 2 dropped passes later i got sacked knocked out of field goal range. Ended up punting and on their first play i had eli sacked at about the 2 but i went for the hit stick and whiffed and they completed a bomb to nicks and went on to kick the game winning field goal lol

Sanchez completed 45% of passes for a bit over 200 yards, 1 TD, and no picks. Very similar game from the RB, 55 yards 3.5 ypc. We were having more success there by the 2nd half (a number of 5-10 yard runs) but of course didn't run all that much towards the end of the game. The huge trouble we had was Romo completed 28-30 passes for over 300 yards and 3 TDs. He missed probably his 6th pass and his 29th pass and was perfect for the entire rest of the game. The throws were almost never contested, always to a wide open WR. We didn't force a single punt, only one turnover from a WR fumble. We had 2 sacks, but those only helped force field goals. Whether is was press man, man with help over the top, zone blitz, cover 4, cover 3, nothing seemed to work. Man would lead to wide open slant and post routes with 10-15 yard runs after the catch. I started having the corners shade coverage to the inside, but it didn't help. Zone helped a bit, but would get eaten up on curls or routes over the middle. Romo always found the open guy. The only advantage to zone was that we'd at least have people there to make the tackle after the catch. Their running game was interesting, it was either blown up at or behind the line, or was a 8-12 yard run with 3 broken tackles in it. It averaged out pretty evenly, 3.5 ypc or something like that, just found it interesting that they had very few if any 2-5 yard runs. I wish I could remember Matt Ryan's completion % to see if he was the same as Romo. We're thinking of adjusting CPU accuracy or CPU catching to just get some incompletions from time to time or maybe the USER coverage or reaction time. Thoughts? Oh and overall I love the challenge of the sliders. We've gutted the Eagles for a big rebuild (even more than Chip already did) so I expect to lose a lot of games for the first year or two. Thanks!

That's cool man. Y'all must play pretty good together. Yeah if you aren't using the left stick or isn't good with it raising the accuracy was the best thing for you to do.

Yeah lower the CPUs accuracy or catching to the red set if y'all are having trouble stopping the pass.. Don't adjust the USER sliders..

You did pretty good for being your first game on Madden 16.. You'll get back going soon and be rocking with the black set eventually.. Keep me posted when you get going again..

New tweaks.

No changes on the Green set.

November 29th- On the red set I raised the USER accuracy to 21

November 29th- On the Blue set I raised the USER accuracy to 12

November 29th- On the Black set I raised the USER accuracy to 3

Okay I been in the lab for the past week trying to tune the USER accuracy. Dropping down the 0 on the black set was way too low. So I slowly raised the accuracy back up and 3 seemed to be the sweet spot for me. So I adjusted the rest of the sets to balance out with that.


Please post feedback if you get some games in with these tweaks.

November 30th- On the red set I raised the CPUs pass block to 40 with (35) being the low end if you are struggling to get pressure, lowered the CPUs tackling back to 50 with (45) being the low end if you are struggling to stop the run.

November 30th- On the Blue set I raised the CPUs pass block to 50 with (45) being the low end if you are struggling to get pressure, I lowered the CPUs tackling back to 60 with (55) being the low end if you are struggling to stop the run.


November 30th- On the Black set I raised the CPUs pass block to 60 with (55) being the low end if you are struggling to get pressure, I lowered the CPUs tackling back to 70 with (65) being the low end if you are struggling to stop the run.


Okay after further testing I realized the tackling being at 100 wasn't right for the black set. If you go that high with the tackling, the CPU defenders go for too many big hits which causes a lot of miss tackles and big runs. With there tackling lower the go for more safe tackles and react better. So I'm moved all the CPU tackling back to where I had it before.

I also raised the CPUs pass blocking on the red, blue, and black. Since the patch I started getting a lot of sacks so I had to raise this slider to compensate..

Whoever trys out the new tweaks post feedback and let me know how it goes.

Jarodd, thanks for the sliders man. Another year of madden and we're again using your set with my buddies.

Question for you.
Prior to the new patch, but more so after, we're having an extremely hard time playing defense, particularly stopping the pass. Matt Ryan recently went off for 700 yards in an extremely weird game, but even more troubling is all qb's have insane accuracy, defensive line pressure isn't very strong and even worse, pass coverage is non-existent. Corners will play man and react so late, zone isn't helping either.

What can we do to improve the defense and start stopping the pass slider side?

We pretty much run the blue set, but did lower cpu accuracy down a few as well as tried to uptick pass coverage a few.

Would importing the sliders make a difference? I've only made edits from inside the slider screen.
