It's not as easy this year as it was in the past. Running the ball has been the hardest thing to do this year. You have to really be patient with it especially on the black set. I do flip the play sometimes but it's not a guarantee of big yardage like it was in the past so you don't need that house rule anymore..

Okay I jumped back in the lab today to mess around with the tackling and runblocking for both the CPU and the USER. I wanted to lower the tackling down 5 points just to see a few more break tackles. I felt like I wasn't see much on both ends. I also lowered the runblocking 5 points to compensate dropping down the tackling. Here's the updates.

September 10th- On all 4 sets I lowered the USER tackling to 45.
September 10th- On the Green set I lowered the CPUs runblocking to 45, I lowered the CPUs runblocking to 45, and lowered the USER runblocking to 45.
September 10th- On the Red set I lowered the CPUs runblocking to 50, lowered the CPUs tackling to 50, and lowered the USER runblocking to 30.
September 10th- On the Blue set I lowered the CPUs runblocking to 55, lowered the CPUs tackling to 55, and lowered the USER runblocking to 15
September 10th- On the Black set I lowered the CPUs runblocking to 60, lowered the CPUs tackling to 60, and lowered the USER runblocking to 0

I really appreciate the feedback I got from the guys who help me test these today.. These tweak will help out the running. Lowering the tackling does have a big affect on the rushing. You will see more openings and you will be able to grind out more yards with powerbacks. Even on the black set with the runblock at 0 you'll see holes open up inside. You just have to make the right decision when you make your cuts because you will get swallowed up. If you end up struggling to run the ball you can raise the runblocking up 5-10 points and that should really open things up for you. Looking forward to more feedback on these tweaks.

Jarrod, will you be beginning a CCM and if so, are you going to keep both the tuner and patch respectively? Out of curiosity, I know your logo indicates Giants, but is that the team that you run with? Thanks in advance...I'm going to test out your green set in coach mode and see what results I get...eager to see because they are both equal balanced.

No I'm not deleting the tuner or the patch. I'm not having the issues that others are having. The CPU is giving me great games. I like that the pass defense got tougher after the tuner. The guys who are complaining like for stuff to come easy for them. The passing was a little too easy before the tuner.

I already been playing a test CFM(in the playoffs currently) but I'm gonna start up my real franchise once I get the new rosters and mess with them a little bit.

Yeah my goal with the green set was to keep it equal balanced for guys who like the sliders that way. I also wanted it to be USER friendly but still a challenge to where you have to earn wins and play smart. Hopefully it works out in coach mode too. Let me know how that goes.

Neither team had a sack, and only 3 total Penalties. Their rushing the first play of the game they broke a 71 yd TD run haha tough game, but still fun getting ready to start Week 2

This was a great game. First half I was outscored 27-14, Second half I outscored them 24-8. AJ Green had REC 11 YDS 176 TD 3, Eifert had REC 5 YDS 120 TD 2. definitely a tale of 2 halfs haha felt great to earn the comeback win

Hey just wanted to let you know I'm going to start a season with my Eagles tonight using your black set! I've used the black set before in madden .. 13? Anyways figured I'd let you know, I'll try to post stats of games when I can, looking forward to being challenged thought!

I can't wait for the rosters to drop and start my franchise. I'll probably do the pre-season with the green sliders and see how that goes and if needed jump to red for the regular season.
