Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

Heckuva play by my Hawks D!
Stafford kept throwing it away before being sacked, UNTIL THIS PLAY!
We called a cover 2 zone middle blitz and was it timely! 1st TD of the game was from our defense!
They got a safety on my qb in the 1st qtr, so both defenses are pumped right now.
Score is now 10-5 Hawks(me)

This has been tough to move the ball w/o R. Wilson playing

Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

Week 4 is a wrap!

2 games ago(posted on previous pg.) I had a 5 turnover gm and lost 23-10.
This game, same settings, we force 5 turnovers and win! 24-5!
Stafford(cpu) struggled in this game. Well now I know it's possible for either cpu or human to have multiple turnover games.

Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

Another area of gameplay that I'm evaluating is the O-Line vs D-Line and matchups, as well as the amount of tackles for loss, and the amount sacks given up per gm User vs cpu.
I have 4 weeks worth of game data, which amounts to roughly 64 games if no teams have bye weeks.
The past 5 games will be looked at even closer b/c of the recent slider adjustments.
So far I've seen a lil more consistent run game by the cpu
Less drops by CPU WR's
And also a bit better run D by the cpu

I will report my findings on Oline vs DLine play and balancing TFLs. I won't just judge it off stats but matchups and ratings

Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

So in the past 7 gms the Tfl's are closer now.
User has 53
CPU has 51
However with the lower tackle slider for the user, it's allowed more btks by the cpu about double what the user gets.
Possible increase of +5(45) User tak could fix this w/o crippling the cpu run game. One adjustment at a time for now.

Next up Lions(cpu) vs Seahawks(me)
Key injuries: R. Wilson and C. Chancellor out.
I wouldn't expect this game to be the high scoring affair like this last game was.
I will report recap of final week 4 game later
Really close to what happened today irl w/ Saints vs Giants http://espn.go.com/nfl/matchup?gameId=400791618

Whats great about this year's Madden is one game could be a shootout and then the next could be a defensive battle, and for the most part it's actually good offenses getting hot when it does get high scoring.
I'm keeping with my current slider setup for now. I've had 2 OT games, was beat 23-10 in another and won 24-5. If you look at the matchups in each game, they played out very realistically.
On to week 5!

Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

For my next game Colts(me) vs Texans(cpu)
I'm testing the cpu fumble slider(55) for improved bcv and elusiveness by the cpu hbs.
I will have my rbk(45) and tak(45) in an attempt to make rushing a bit harder for the user and better for the cpu.
My sliders setup for this next gm.
User/Cpu
Qb acc: 50/50
Pbk: 50/50
Wrc: 50/55
Rbk: 45/55
Fum: 45/55
Prt: 50/50
Int: 35/35
Pcv: 50/50
Tak: 45/55

Re: All-Pro/Adjusted Penalty Sliders/32 team Control

Colts(me) vs Texans(cpu).
I started off slow in this game and had to overcome a 16pt deficit.
5 turnovers had a part in my slow start.
Somehow managed to get enough stops to get back in it.
Hoyer actually outplayed me but they couldn't convert 3rd dwns, they didn't really stick to the run game either.

User/cpu
Sacks 2/5(JJ Watt got me 2x)
TFLS
11/9
Btks
4/6
Fumbles
0/0
Ints
5/1
This is one of the very few games that I've won after turning it over more than them.
Final score irl was 27-20 Colts, this was close to it.
