I was the Bears, it was a close game throughout with the Cardinals hitting a game winning FG as time expired.

Overall, it was probably the most enjoyable game I've had against the CPU in a long time. The yardage numbers overall are a bit on the high end, but they didn't feel uneven on either side of the ball. Palmer was completely on fire at the start completing 11 of his first 13 passes for 174 yards. However, I was able to adjust and slow him down a little bit more as the game went on.

It was pretty tough to run the ball. Forte felt like he was running through mud and there were a couple plays where the line completely ignored blocking their man and I just got completely stuffed. Though again, that could just be an adjustment I have to work on and get better at. Not every game can be perfect!

I did find it a little troubling that the RB's were not subbed in almost at all for either team. No chance Ellington ever gets 28 carries in a game and John Fox is known for spreading the love among his RB's, even though Forte has been a workhorse for the majority of his career.

Other than that, I'd say the biggest issues were the lack of penalties, with only 3 in the entire game. One was caused by a silly mistake of hit sticking the kicker...whoops. And the other issue being the lack of pressure on D, I couldn't get any hurries on Palmer all game other than the single sack. Though they had a couple sacks on me, I was pressured numerous times to throw the ball away or get rid of it quickly.

Very solid sliders to start with!

Re: Charter04's Madden 16 All-Madden Sliders

This was a play now game.

I play a pedestrian game in that I just choose between the 3 recommended plays, I’m not very good at Madden but typically I can compete on All-Madden against the CPU and All-Pro’s a little too easy. I actually really enjoyed your sliders last year if I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure those are the ones I used most of the year. Although my play calling is bad bc I’m only using the 3 given plays typically, I usually can make the right read with the QB more often than not. The Y button catch didn’t work once, I tried to throw the deep ball a little bit considering how bad the game was going and I couldn’t run. Got broken up EVERY time. Felt like either my receivers didn’t get open or they didn’t have time to.

Couldn’t run the ball. Tried to truck a guy with Cam and got unloaded on and fumbled. Felt like way too many sacks on both sides. Especially on play action, but overall I felt like I didn’t have time to make any reads. That led to sacks, bad throws, etc. Russell Wilson’s throws seemed a little automatic at times. There were times where I got sacked right after I snapped the ball before I could even see where my receivers were going. Maybe the gameplay on normal is too fast, maybe I just suck at this game haha. I couldn’t stop Marshawn Lynch and his spin moves, seems like I couldn’t bring any tackles with my guys.

Lynch had 195 yards in the first half. Obviously I suck at Madden, but is anyone THAT bad? Lots of three and outs for me, mostly bc I couldn’t run the ball. It seemed like one of their linebackers was unblocked and had a literal heat seeker on me. He was zoned in and every time I found the hole he met me regardless of which direction I went. Jonathan Stewart didn’t stand a chance breaking a tackle. I think I broke one tackle in the second half for a ten yard run. I’ve been typing this while I’m playing and currently Lynch hasn’t done much in the third quarter. Only one ten yard gain. He also fumbled, there were lots of fumbles in the game. Not too many picks, but they didn’t seem like fair picks either.

Every time Russell Wilson tries to run the ball, my team backs off like they’re trying to give him open space. I’ll play a game with a good team against a bad team to see if I’m getting completely different results. Idk if I’m really giving you much to work with bc mine are so lopsided. I just ran play action again and the second I had a chance to throw I clicked x and he still got hit while throwing and barely got the ball out. In three quarters the closest I got to scoring was a 56 yard field goal with the wind carrying the ball but it hit the post bc I didn’t quite get all of it. People may disagree with me, but I think the average NFL kicker has the leg for 50+ yards these days. Might not be accurate, but I think the power is a little higher in real life. You got guys who can kick from the mid 50’s and have plenty of power for it. You don’t see field goals go short in real life like in the game.

I’m also noticing a lot of my passes get caught and then broken up. I think that’s bc my wideouts are creating hardly any space. The second they touch the ball they get hit. I know this is just me rambling and this assessment is well put together, but I’m trying to right down all my thoughts as I’m playing. Russell Wilson doesn’t seem as automatic in the second half. He’s been sacked way too much though. Greg Olsen had a big play and on a routine tackle he fumbled. Marconi Lynch finally just had another breakout run to start the 4th quarter. He’s had four 50 yard runs. It was typically either nothing, or home run. On the flip side, Robert Turbin had 5+ carries and couldn’t gain a yard.

I hopes this helps some, it was a very weird game. I’m sure you’ll get better results from others. The general consensus is probably that I need to use easier sliders. Probably too many plays for me too bc I threw the ball way too much. I’m interested to see what other people think bc I’d like to know how bad I really am haha. Even when I hit the open guy on a slant pass it’s getting broken up. I also just ran the ball with Cam, got pushed out of bounds, didn’t even lose my balance and the ball still came out.

Most of Seattle’s offense came in the first half. If you have any questions I’d love to help any way that I can. Again, sorry for the essay lol.

Charter04's Madden 16 All-Madden Sliders

Well I've at least got average QB's playing bad for the CPU. Lol maybe too bad. Clemons is playing terrible in my franchise pre season game

Charter04's Madden 16 All-Madden Sliders

A few notes from my first pre season game. I was Dallas at SD

-the Back up Clemons really struggled (15-33 140 yards, 0 td's 4 picks!)
-it's too easy to get sacks when the CPU runs play action
-my defense had 5 Ints ( too many probably)
-we had 6 sacks. (Too many maybe. Most were on play action)
-not enough penalties

Everything else wasn't bad. I had trouble with my back ups. The QB's sucked. Kind of realistic. Lol

Re: Charter04's Madden 16 All-Madden Sliders

I just updated the Op

Raised some penalties to 55 and Defensive PI to 60

I lowered User Int to 40

Raised CPU pass block to 15.

Yea man All Madden is really tough this year. you might want to use slow speed or even try All Pro until you can move up to AM.

I think I will. The only thing about All-Pro default I don't like is I think I'll win too many games and unless I cut the quarters down to like 10-12 minutes my stats are gonna be inflated. But that's probably my best bet.

I played another game with your sliders and played about halfway through the 3rd quarter but my gf just got here so I turned it off. Much better game. I was the Packers and played the Bears. It was 13-13 when I turned it off. A-Rodge and Cutler both had a touchdown pass, but A-Rodge had one pick and Cutler had 3. Cutler was pretty bad, but had some good moments. Besides the 3 picks I actually thought they were realistic. Forte had like 50 yards, a couple of good runs but nothing huge. I was able to run the ball pretty well with Eddie Lacy and quite with around 75 yards. I think slow speed is more for me. Less sacks, I don't even think I got sacked but I'm not used to having to get the ball out so quick either. The only problem with QB play on their side was Cutler threw 3 picks in the first half, besides that he played kinda like Cutler would play. Rodgers didn't feel like Rodgers though. I was hitting all my spots, so I guess that's not completely accurately, but my guys were still dropping everything. 50% completion accordingly.

You're right though, I think the game speed is causing a lot of this for me. On slow I'll be able to catch the receivers open more often. The drops probably bother me the most, the catching animation is crazy enough to where you'd see it and think "yeah he'd probably drop that in real life" but at the same time when Jordy Nelson is going up against a guy 6 inches shorter than him and has him beat one on one in man press coverage I expect him to come down with the ball at least like half the time he gets his hands on it ya know? Seems like every single time he dropped it. I'll keep up with your updates and try em some more for sure.

This was before you made the updated on the OP. I was the Giants and controlled the whole game for the most part besides a bad throw that was returned for a TD. RGIII could not get anything going the whole game and my DLinemen held Alfred Morris in check. Does anyone thing the punting power should be ticked down a little?
