Re: MADDEN 16 Realistic Slider Set (ALL-PRO)

Game 2 of Saints CFM, vs Bucs in the Dome. I'm not sure if this game was just an anomaly or what but I've never had a game like this on Madden before. It was a good game for the most part but Brees was just in another stratosphere. And it wasn't the drive goal bug because he was on fire from the first play. I have seen Rogers I think have a game like this once in real life but it is very unusual. He went 22/23 for 284 yds, 3 TD, no picks. The ground game was actually very realistic, all the yards were hard earned and I was seriously pounding the rock in the whole second half just trying to chew the clock after taking a nice lead into the locker room. I had one drive where I never threw the ball once, it ended in a FG.

This is with all the latest updates except CPU INT at 42 and of course I made the change of CPU PDR to 4 from 8 where I accidentally had it for the previous game. Maybe I need to put it back to 8! What was the reasoning for moving USER TAK to 45, Tampa had a much harder time running the ball that the Cards and that was the only change that could have affected that I think.

Auto subs seemed pretty good, 13 carries for Spiller is quite a bit. Not sure how to really tell about the other players, is there a way to see who else is being subbed? I mean I can occasionally notice some defensive players being subbed but it's hard to tell about the OL on field.

How do you feel they're playing? Well, Jarrod sets are usually on very fast and all madden so to go from that to very slow on all pro is almost night and day. Running game has been dominant which has led to easy conversions and more opportunities to throw it down the feel on 2nd and short. QB accuracy may be too low. May have also discovered a money play too.

If you think QB ACC is too low check out my game right above your post. Brees went 22/23 284 yds, 3 TDs, no INTs. I am playing strict coach mode so I never control anyone, I just call plays and hike the ball. I am by no means knocking the sliders, in fact I think they play extremely well, I just think you will see a great variety of games. Brees can be lights out at times, just as the Cowboys how he lit them up.

Wow, Brees wtih 95% completion (thats unheard of, highest completion % I've seen was 76% but that was on like 11 pass attempts from Mariota, mainly check downs.) I'm thinking that was/had to be an anamoly. Yea I remember Rodgers with something like that before. Was the Bree's completions actually realistic? I'm still having realistic scenarios play out, especially even more now that QB Accuracy has dropped some.

I don't think the tackle rating increasing by 1 had much to do with TB rushing attack, just think you run D was flying around to the ball, but you never know. Reason though was, just wanted to test at 45 (had a guy say that his CPU opponent was running through everything, first time I had heard that before with regards to tackling being set at 44), may want to give tackling at USER 45 another game just to see if it was more so your run D just buckling down. And I would say ARZ rushing attack is more potent that TB's (but who knows.)

Auto subs I'm seeing my RB2 get between 9-13 carries so I think that's pretty realistic, especially considering you have Spiller. Could be also that you ran the ball successfully on one drive for every play (I've had one of those play out before). But I'm definitely curious to see how Bree's plays next game. You sure the drive bug doesn't carry over from one game to the next? Has that been mentioned before (only other I could think of for why Bree's started on fire and it just stayed that way other than that one game of course being an anamoly). But that is D. Brees and he's pretty darn terrific as a QB.

I can't complain not one bit with how the sliders are performing. I'm in the middle of this MLB RTTS but I'm about to test another game soon BAL @ CIN.

Your running game has been dominant? How so? Is it realistic, or seems to be cheese?

With yo controlling QB play, you may want to add a point to QB ACC, but I'm seeing great results where its at. I'm talking anywhere between 52% and 72& being the highest with an average of 63/64 completion percentage.
