As I said I would I'm working on fine tuning these to better suit Franchise mode. Doing testing now. Just finished my first regular season game (simmed pre season) heres a quick break down, followed by box score:
First Half- Both QB's performed as expected in the first half of their first regular season game. Also the rain and strong winds didn’t help either Winston (turnovers) or Mariota (rhythm). Defenses took advantage of that.
TB Offense: IDK why TB kept putting the ball in winston (7-16 68 yds) hands considering his lacking experience and weather (4 first half ints, 1 returned for td). Their running game actually had success against my run defense early D.Martin (14-75) in the first half.
TEN Offense: Tried to establish my running game to help settle Mariota, but Sankey (10-27) really had no openings. Mariotta (7-12 64 yds) seemed rushed in my opinion, G. Mccoy collapsed the pocket (1 sack) constantly in the first half and when Mariotta did have some time to throw he was late to some reads and forced to check down underneath due to increasing pressure and the strong winds and rain obviously wouldn't be of help on intermediate and deep throws.
TB Defense: Run defense was stout. Determined to load the box and make Mariotta beat them throwing. Thought they had a great game plan against me with the rookie QB on the road and the weather being a factor. Pass defense wasn’t really challenged down the field, we’ll see in the second half.
TEN Defense: Forced 4 turnovers, 1 INT returned for TD on opening game drive as Winston was late on throw to flats. Run defense wasn’t particualry sharp early. Martin had success often running for decent gains (6/7 yards a pop with a couple 2/3 yard gainers). Got early pressure on Winston resulting in one sack off nickel blitz. Secondary held the two twin towers (Jackson/Evans) in check as I played more zone than man coverage.
Second Half: Pressure got to Mariota as he threw a INT trying to hit the TE across the middle of the field. But he (Mariota) soon settled down, finding some rhythm. TEN running game was better in second half, particularly late in game. Martin didn't find the same running success as he did in early part of game. Winston managed the turnovers better but couldn't get into rhythm, missing on some throws as he was facing pressure from my front four and occasional 5/6 man blitz.
TB Offense: Tried to manage the game with early run plays especially when they got the lead. Winston hooked up with Evans for a deep connection (although it was defended well, Mccourty just got out muscled for ball at high point) Evans presumed to take it in for the long TD. Other than that nothing out of the ordinary. Winston seemed to become erratic missing on intended throws late in 3rd, early 4th as pressure built. Game really came down to final drive with Winston not being able to convert on 4th and 13.
TEN Offense: 3rd QTR sustained some drives but couldn’t convert TD’s in red zone, settled for FGs. Running game seemed to pick up late in 4th QTR on a long drive (12/13 play drive) to take 3 point lead, and that carried over to next drive as we punched it in facing short field after TB turned it over trying to convert 4th down. Mariotta definitely looked a little more comfortable in 2nd half as I sped up the pace a little using the spread and shotgun more, finding success with H. Douglass (1 TD) in the slot.
TB Defense: Continued to keep TEN running game in check early in 3rd and got pressure early with G. Mccoy registering another sack. They did looked to be getting gassed with under 4 min in 4th QTR, but held up strong enough to limit me on a crucial 3rd and short inside 10 yd line. Did give up late rushing TD when TB offense turned ball over on downs, and the defense was faced with a short field to defend. Pass defense surrounded a TD but other than that I think they held up pretty well, limiting big plays and coming up making tackles on the short completions.
TEN Defense: First half run woes seemed to be in past. D. Martin couldn’t find the same rhythm he had early. With running game being limited the attention was on Winston and our pass rush and coverage. We sent multiple blitzes in different waves to keep Winston off balance and guessing. That seemed to work. Winston looked like a rookie QB (completing only 33.3% of his attempts) missing out on some underneath completions due to confidence and rain (receivers slipped/fell a couple times) throwing off rhythm.
Overall Impression: Gameplay wise, I felt the game played extremely well. Great game of ebbs and flows (momentum shifts) from both sides. I did make some slight slider adjustments which I'll post and highlight. I do however need to fine tune fatigue and auto subs again. I'll post those as well shortly. Heres the full game boxscore.

So your QB, Mariota, took off too? WOW, everything I have read on these forums says the user QB in coach mode will not run past the line of scrimmage unless you switch to another player and player lock on that player. Will you be streaming any game son Twitch, I'd love to see this in action!
Yup. Mariota tried to hand back for as long as he could but rush started coming from blind side so he took off a couple times. With my sliders I've seen a couple QB's take off. I would say it does depend on who the QB is. Yesterday I played against San Fran and CK took off maybe 8 times for I think 56 yards. QB's like Manning and Brady (classic pocket passers) may be more inclined to throw out of bounds I've seen that too.
Unfortunately I don't know how to work the twitch app. I would love to know, so I could stream some games.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. As far as I know it has only been the user controlled QBs who supposedly will not run on their own in coach mode. I'm really excited to check these out. I haven't tried coach mode before but aging and hurting thumbs have forced me to try this mode. I have never been a real "stick jockey" anyway and have relied on my play calling so hopefully this will be right up my alley. Thanks again!
