Let us know.

One other thing....when you try this....take a close look at the previous play information. See if the QB was targeting the number one route option on that play and if not, WHY he may not have done so.

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Reading the past few posts prompted me to check my stats, in my coach mode season, 11 games in and with my slider settings. Here's what I've got so far, receiving wise.........

Receptions.....
Brown 55
Miller 46
Bryant 38
Wheaton 23
Spaeth 16
Coates 12
Williams 12
Bell 11

Yards......
Brown 955
Bryant 695
Miller 610
Wheaton 413
Spaeth 229
Coates 132
Bell 112

Tds.......
Brown 13
Bryant 4
Miller/Wheaton 3

Downs played (important stat)......
Miller 723
Brown 718
Bryant 593
Spaeth 484
Wheaton 294
Coates 121

Those numbers actually look fairly decent I say. I feel you have to lower your auto subs for receivers very low, with a fatigue at 57 and you're golden! I hope my stats can help you guys. I'd take pictures, but too much glare on the tv! Enjoy reading your posts gentlemen, good luck on future findings/improvements.

Good stuff JoshC, I'm liking these a lot. Might go down to 8 minute quarters as I ran something like 80 plays last game. If I wanted to increase difficulty, rather than mess with sliders and penalties should I look at modifying auto subs for the other team? If I increased auto subs for the CPU OL to something like 20/23, would that in theory make them play more aggressively and thus make them run block and/or pass block better?

After a couple of games with the qb auto sub at 99/100, the cpu definitely played more aggressive getting his receivers the ball. I saw more deep throws too which was a big plus to me, it felt like the cpu wasn't afraid to take a chance. I'm going to play a few more games to keep testing.

with a setting of 99/100 how does a player stay in the game? Doesn't that mean as soon as he hits 99 fatigue he gets pulled? Wouldn't that be after just like a few plays? Or am I missing something?

the #1 receiver issue i have been experiencing. i used certain plays to stack the deck but thats not right, swapping them in depth chart 1st and 2nd half etc.

Nope, QBs don't sub out

This is awesome to hear....this could be a great way to milk more of a challenge out of AP without going down the crazy world of modifying gameplay sliders.

One thing I would be cognizant of is to make sure they are not so aggressive that they are never taking that 10 yard pattern to move the chains on 3rd and 8.

In theory, yes it would....but I haven't given that a shot....

Be careful with quarter length....don't react to a game or 2....and bear in mind what the total number of plays in the game was (in your game where you ran 80 plays, if the CPU ran 50 plays, then that is 130 total...which is dead on the money).
