Toying with am...as it shows in the settings.

Toying is the right word, these need some adjustment. I will mess some with these and also keep working on adjusting the ap setup....

Look....I played around with the AM setup a bit more last night. It's not bad, but I just can't feel the player ratings as much.

I'm going back to basics...we haven't given base fatigue a shot with the OP sliders on All Pro. So going with 50 fatigue on the OP set for a while....let's see what happens.

Tried AM this morning. Did not like it. I did play a game on ap. Tried bumping face mask up. The game was lower scoring more field goals. But I had 5 face mask penalties. The game and sliders play great. Just need a little tighter coverage.

I agree. All Madden does not play as well. Still adjusting in AP and now starting to get some defensive battles.

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Game 1 on the books using the OP with 50 fatigue using the Niners versus the Vikings. Absolute defensive battle...freakin' loved in.

Was down 19-10 late in the 4th quarter when I was finally able to get my passing game on-track. Kaepernick hit Patton for an 8 yard TD in the back of the end zone with 1:!2 remaining to make it 19-17. I decided to kick deep with 3 TOs still remaining...AP nearly made me pay on 1st down with a nice run that was just short of the first down marker. A couple of good defensive play calls and we forced them to punt. Got the ball back with about a minute and was able to get the ball into FG range - in part due to a big DPI call on a throw across the middle to Torrey. We killed the clock with 3 seconds left and Dawson kicked the game-winner with no time left.

Both teams had over 100 yards rushing with a tremendous variety of good, bad, and ugly runs. Both QBs with 65% completion percentage and the total offense for both sides was under 350 (330 for SF and 310 for Minn).

Onto game two versus the Squeelers...

Game 2 in the books...and yikes, Ben took total advantage of my poor DBs as the steelers crushed my niners 52-16. Total change from game 1. Cardinals up next...

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Hey guys I'm new to this thread, but I've definitely known about OS for a few years now, and frequently visit for tips on my roster creations and what not lol but I have a question concerning the games default sliders. Do you all prefer to play CFM with custom sliders or is it better to keep it default?
I'm trying to start up multiple test leagues and run simulations for a few experiments but I'm trying to figure out what would be the best method of getting the most "realistic" stats and most probable outcomes, also how many minute quarters do you set for your franchise games ?
Thanks in advance

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

Game 3 in the books. My Niners on the road against Arizona (who were starting Drew Stanton and Steven Jackson in their backfield)....another defensive game.

We drew first blood in the second quarter after my punter Bradley Pinioned them deep (see what I did? ) on the 1 yard line. Next play, safety. It was 3-2 Arizona at the half and 10-8 after the 3rd quarter as the two defenses dominated. The game ended in a 20-15 loss for my Niners as Kaepernick threw a pick (offline throw) on the final drive of the game. As the Niners were in real life, getting frustrated with Kaep...he has moments of brilliance which are totally undermined by bad throws at the worst possible time.

So, that's a close win, blowout loss, and close loss after three games....so far so good. Going to keep playing, but I'm going to go ahead and update the OP yet again to reflect the 50 fatigue....we should never have left that setting in the first place....
