Just finished game 3 at the ravens and it was pretty much a duplicate of the first game. I'm not going to bother with a box score, but I ended up wining 40-20. FLacco was still pretty much unstoppable as he threw 29/40 for 327 yards and 2 tds, but his completion percentage did drop to 72%. I also noticed that there were errant passes...especially when he was under pressure, nothing wild but a little high or a foot or two to the left or right, just out of reach of the receiver or that would allow the defenders to break up the pass with a hard hit. I have also noticed over the last 3 games that the tight end lead receptions in each one, which might indicate a threshold problem as the LB's cant keep up with them, which really shouldn't be a problem for Timmons or Shazier.

RB's were average getting 88 yards overall, but that would have dropped to 52 if you take out 2 long scrambles by flacco. The other 2 backs averaged 3.3 ypc

My offense is just too prolific, AB and Bryant are pretty much uncoverable ,Bell is just a beast, and my O'line is bordering on elite, so sustaining long drives and putting up a bunch of points is pretty easy. I have a Online cfm with the bucs, so I am going to play a few games with them to see if there are any differences with a worse team... It will also be interesting to see if the there is a difference in game play between online and offline.

Just to share my experience since the 2 thing mention on the op are the same thing that bothers me from default. I give it a chance but I was not entirely sold by the ol. Still to much hold for me. This lead my satires to almost make every tackle. So what I did was lower rb to 0 and leave holding penalties at default. While the holding was much better now DL were making to many plays and rushing game was none exists. So I rise it to 20. And the hold came back. I went all down to 10. I only played a few. Plays I had to go to bed this seems to be the sweet spot. Cpu was able to do over 4.0 avg and DL were shading blocks. I left tackle at 40.

Just want to share if anyone Is interested. I play no switch rule so you may have different experience.

So I decided to try a game in my online cfm with the Bucs, and man it was quite a difference. The numbers below don't adequately tell the story of this game... It was truly a tale of two halves. I couldn't get anything going in the first, WR's couldn't get seperation, I had a lot less time to throw compared to my Steelers line, no running game aside from one 55 yarder from D.Martin, Winston kept throwing it to the wrong team(I'll take credit for one of the int's since I was trying to force it to a receiver that wasn't open, but the other two were just wildly off target), I got stuffed 3 times in a row on the goalline, and the only touchdown came from a fumble recovery . On the other side RG3 was playing lights out with around 75% completion and Morris was gashing me on the ground. I almost rage quit after the Skins scored again on the opening drive of the 3rd putting me down by 3 touchdowns. But I hung in there and decided to really open up the pass and abandon the run game. Winston came alive completing pass after pass, and RG3 just crumbled, interceptions being the only passes he could complete. I was able to tie it up at the end of the 3rd and dominated the 4th for the win.

It was a very satisfying game of Madden overall and I didn't see any glaring issues with the exception of Morris breaking 10 tackles. I was very happy with QB performance, and pressure really effected accuracy on both sides. And while there was a fumble from a QB sack, I have yet to see a RB or WR put one on the ground.

Any updates Josh. How are the latest updates working for you?

I am a little scared to put Holding at 10 simply because I like seeing penalties, but even with it at 80 i was only seeing it like once or twice per game so if the gameplay is a lot better with it at 10 i guess it's worth it.

I am pretty much considering this final unless there is either a) some unforeseen breakthrough or b) another patch.

You really owe it to yourself to give the low holding slider a shot....I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the improvement in line play. Still not perfect, but much improved IMO....and I still see 1 or 2 holds many games...usually from lower rated players - but still...

I love how ratings stand out on All-Pro, but no matter who I played with or against I was always able to win without giving maximum effort even with house rules.
I decided to try these on All-Madden and they're damn near perfect.

Are you using 32-team control Josh? These sliders are solid, but I'm still a little afraid of confidence.
