I played 2 more games at 12/18 and got 105 and 115 again... I think i'm going to go back to 15/15 where I usually get between 120 and 130 plays per game. Should I mess with that fatigue setting since the quarters are longer?
If you were to bump it up to 15, you will probably blow right past that. Based on your rates, 13 minute quarters should be fine.

15 minutes/12 seconds works pretty good for me.
I also wanted to ask Josh if I should adjust fatigue and auto-subs for longer quarters.
After all this time I have gravitated back to default all pro as well. The game just plays pretty solid there. But I really love the look of the slight tweaks you've made JoshC and can't wait to plug them in. Thanks for all the effort bro.
I apologize ahead of time for the length of this post. All settings for these 5 games are as is in the OP (with the exception of the quarter length – which I switch to 12-18 for the Washington game). I have compiled Box Scores for my last 5 games of my Eagles Franchise (Year 2) with brief game notes as well as a chart with key stats in order to highlight the averages of key stat categories. Hopefully this will provide some insight into how these sliders affect gameplay, as well as some ideas of how they may fit with your playing style and some adjustments you may need to make. I have only added key defensive stats, and only players who have 3 receptions or more in the game to save sanity and time.
Speaking to my relatively higher QB percentage even with bad QBs, I run a very very typical West Coast attack. Ertz is a 90 overall, Murray, Mathews and Abdullah are great out of the backfield, so I tend to hit a lot of screens and high percentage dump-offs which skews that stat for me.
As for the CPU running game, I feel that it may be under-powered, but at the same time there were instances where I felt I was tested by the CPU RB. Blocking looked very fluid, no skating and such. I believe the reason for the lower CPU rushing averages equates to my “revamped” 4-3 defense which features the front 7 of:
Brandon Graham – 93OVR
Fletcher Cox – 96OVR
Bennie Logan – 81OVR
Connor Barwin – 99OVR (Yeah, I know…)
Mychal Kendricks – 90OVR
Kiko Alonso – 88OVR
Brad Jones – 77OVR(the weak spot)
My safeties are 90 and 82 overall, and I do have Maxwell on the outside. Eric Rowe is only a 75, but he provides the height advantage.
So, anyway, here’s the stats:

Very exciting game. Flacco was HORRIBLE in the first half and I was questioning the sliders out of the gate. Well, Flacco (and Crockett Gillmore) lit me up in the second half and nearly stole the game. I was able to drive down for a last second FG and got the victory. Quick note, my starting rookie QB (84OVR) was injured Week 1 before I began using these sliders. He is out for most of the season. I also lost Murray this game.

There’s nothing to really write home about in this game. The Bears are a very underwhelming team in my game. Garoppolo played as you might expect with 3 interceptions. I still had to work for the victory late, though.

I went toe-to-toe with Aaron Rodgers, and did pretty well, but it wasn’t enough. It was very challenging to face Rodgers and it almost seemed like when they needed a score, he made it happen. Almost like he was doing it at will (which is pretty similar to real life). Nothing unrealistic either. Good game.

This was the only game played with these sliders where I honestly didn’t feel challenged too badly. It was still entertaining because if you don’t pay attention, the CPU can sneak a couple plays on you. This was also the first game that I switched the quarter length to match the OP with 12min-18RO. As you can see this had a great effect on the auto-subs as Abdullah was able to get into the game and spell Mathews which wasn’t seen in the previous games.

Coming off the bye week, my Rookie QB is back, Demarco is back from injury, and it’s Dallas week, set up nicely. Had a chance to take control of the division (yes, the NFCE still sucks in madden, too), and I blew it. Jumped out to an early lead, and from there the offense slowed down a little bit. Tony Romo is good. Takes what you give him. I focused on Dez (limited him to 1 catch for 4 yards), and didn’t want to get beat deep. With 5 minutes remaining, Dallas was up 31-24. I stalled and kicked the FG, 31-27. First throw of the following drive, Romo throws high to Beasley and Eric Rowe picks him off in Dallas territory. Stalled again, but managed to find Huff on 3rd and 17 for a 31 yard TD. Went for two and failed, 33-31. Dallas proceeded to drive down the field. Big play to Witten got them into my side of the field. Another completion to T. Williams for around 20-25 yards got them down to the 5. I managed to stop them from getting the score and forced the FG 34-33. There were 30 seconds left, I had all 2 timeouts left. Hit a big scramble with my QB and found Ertz for another good gain and got to the 36, used my last timeout to stop the clock at 3 seconds. Lined up for the 53 yarder and it fell short!! Fantastic game, though!
Okay, so now for the averages:
As I pointed out earlier, CPU rushing seems to be under-powered. That may have to do with my defense, may not. I tend to think it does because of high highly rated I am on the front 7, and there are times where some RBs have gotten free. I’m averaging 117.4 plays per game. Also, one other note – the “Fumbles” category is total fumbles, NOT fumbles lost. So, that number is a little higher, but not all of those resulted in a turnover. No need to be alarmed there.
Heading to the Playoffs in season 1 with the Jaguars.
Heading into week 17, the 6-9 Jags faced the 7-8 Texans in a "winner take all" scenario. Hung on to beat the Texans 28-21 and clinch the AFC South with a 7-9 record. Texans and Titans also finished 7-9 but i had the best division record at 4-2 to get the tiebreaker.
First of all, I would like to thank both Fly8Eagles4Fly and eastcoast49ers for providing some terrific stats for their CFMs (it takes a lot of effort to do this...please know that this is really helpful and is much appreciated). I really think that their stats (along with those I have accumulated myself...I seriously need to post some from my own KC CFM) demonstrate that this near-default setup is working pretty well.
I'd personally like to see a bit higher rushing numbers across the board for the CPU, but I just don't think that raising the RBK slider is viable (as there is way too much push to be realistic...which is why you see too many pancakes at default AP). I also don't think that lowering TAK is viable as I am concerned as to the possible effects of this slider on pass rush and possibly on pass defense.
I think that this set does a solid job of replicating the modern-day NFL and really, for an All Pro set which is THIS close to default...is pretty dang good.

I think the main problem with cpu run game is they just don't stick to it enough. I've had them run really well on me but they just don't give them the carries to elevate the yardage total. Nothing you can do about that. I with you. This game plays great. It's never gonna be perfect. I'll take what we have any day of the week.

Bit off topic but thought this would be the place to ask...
Josh, have you played around with pass defense reaction time much this year? What have you found with that slider, obviously besides default 50 working fine. Does it essentially have the same effect as last year?
