I've seen plays where underrated cpu lineman knocked 3/4 of my Dline down on their backs at the snap of the ball. That is the deal breaker for me, but perhaps post patch with some penalty sliders that can be (or has been) addressed.
Yeah - the line play is really where AM gains a lot of the added difficulty. If we had last year's lineplay with this year's QB awareness, we'd be set...

You got me all curious to try out a couple of things

I'm playing on All-Pro default post-patch and Brady is 9/9 so far and hasn't missed.

I will second that. Nothing new with Brady. He has had multiple games this year with near perfect stat line. Heck...even Tannehill had a game where he was perfect

Yeah, I pretty much don't worry about stats until I have built-up about half a season worth of data.

When the patch came out, I went back to AP. However, I am back to that state again where AP is beginning to feel a bit stale.
I just played a CFM game with this setup. All-Madden Jarrod green set, but 50 thresh, normal speed, and your sliders/subs.

Using the Lions I got it handed to me by the Chargers 39-21 and it shouldn't have even been that close. They only scored 2 offensive TD, they had a fumble return TD, and 6 field goals! Chargers had 8 trips into the red zone, they just couldn't punch it in for scores.

I couldn't stop them. 483 total yards of offense. I'm pretty sure Rivers only threw 2 incompletions the 2nd half.

Stats:
Detroit:
Orlovsky 19-35 199 yds 2TD 2INT 1FUMLOST
Stafford got hurt 1st quarter

Abdullah 17 car 50 yds TD
Riddick 5 car 22 yds
Bell 1 car 4 yds

Calvin 5 rec 76 yds
Abdullah 4 rec 34 yds
Riddick 3 rec 27 yds TD
Jones 2 rec 30 yds
Tate 2 rec 21 yds
Ebron 2 rec 11 yds
Washington 1 rec 7 yds
Pettigrew 1 rec 3 yds TD

San Diego:
Rivers 29-42 331 yds TD INT

Woodhead 25 car 104 yds TD
Oliver 8 car 58 yds
Gordon 1 car 2 yds

Allen 7 rec 83 yds
Gates 7 rec 59 yds TD
Floyd 5 rec 47 yds
Woodhead 4 rec 47 yds
Inman 2 rec 35 yds
Johnson 2 rec 38 yds
Oliver 1 rec 14 yds
Green 1 rec 8 yds

Time of Possession:
Det 25:32
SD 34:28

Oh yeah....definitely not an easy setup. Were you able to get any kind of consistent pressure on Rivers?

No not consistent that I remember. I think I sacked him twice. But I definitely don't remember him rolling out or moving very often.

Their running game felt like the line play was sticky. There were times when they'd get a huge whole and I'm trying not to lose it at my guys just staying engaged the whole time and not shedding blocks. Overall I felt like if blocking/block shedding was better there'd be a great game.

Edit: for the record I'm not complaining I lost, I actually appreciate losing. Especially if I use the Lions, I should be losing more games than I win.
