Their running game felt like the line play was sticky. There were times when they'd get a huge whole and I'm trying not to lose it at my guys just staying engaged the whole time and not shedding blocks. Overall I felt like if blocking/block shedding was better there'd be a great game.
Thanks dsmith....that last observation is key....I'll take a look at it tomorrow. Still, you were able to hold Rivers to 69% passing with "sticky" lineplay....that in of itself is key. If we can get that resolved, I think we might have lift-off.

And on a sidebar....your Nittany Lions had better win tomorrow!!

Thing is, I remember Rivers starting out 7/10 and thinking great here we go. Then he's all over the place and I think around halftime was 11/22. That means he went 18/20 in the 2nd half. Oof.

Hopefully you have some luck, it seems like a tweak of maybe offsides or false start may do the trick?

As far as Penn State goes, I wouldn't count on it haha. James Franklin doesn't beat teams with winning records, let alone ranked ones on the road.

I'm actually thinking of looking at the autosubs. However, the problem with that or the penalty sliders is that it affects the user too. I might have to do one of those things and then slightly bump up user RBK to make it a little more balanced.

Can't believe auto subs effect gameplay now. Smh.

Well they don't actually control the subbing so it makes sense that it just messes up something else.

I think they always have - but this year's game is so well-balanced on default that we are just now seeing the effects. It is more like the autosubs control how much effort is expended by CPU players. At the end of the day, it really comes down to balance. I have always intuitively matched WR autosubs with DB autosubs - not wanting one to gain the advantage over the other. It never occurred to me until a couple of days ago that it would be similar for other positions.

I will reiterate though, the autosubs posted on the OP work just fine with AP.

I'm very likely going to work on something for All Madden - it just may be that there will be a different autosub set for AM.

Re: JoshC1977's M16 Sliders

I've been labbing this morning on an All Madden setup and it looks like it may come together very quickly. This is All Madden set is intended for people that want to have a fully-interactive experience, but still want reasonably balanced gameplay.

With his advance permission, the gameplay sliders are straight from Jarodd's Green Set (using his pre-patch version for balance purposes).

Skill Level (Intro/Main/CFM): All Pro/All Madden/All Madden
Game Speed: Normal
Helps: off but, optional
Quarter Length: 12 minutes
Minimum Play Clock Time: 20 seconds (Or whatever you want)
Injuries: 70
Fatigue: 55
Player Min Speed Threshold: 50
Assists: All Off

Penalties (Key to get proper gameplay)
Offsides: 55
False Start: 55
Offensive Holding:45
Defensive Holding:50
Facemask:50
Illegal Block ITB:50
RTP:50
Def PI: 55
Off PI: On
Kick Catch Int:On

These must be set in the main menu as well as CFM. Autosubs have any influence on gameplay, so I strongly recommend using these exactly as described.

So from what I used last night that in the game I posted about, the changes I see are QB acc up to 35 (Jarrodd lowered to 30 post patch), face mask up to 50, and FB/TE and OL autosub changed.

I hope to keep QB acc at 30, but I like the idea of facemask up to 50, creating less tackles shed. Did the OL autosub help fix it??
