Plus the amount of penalties I was getting was very realistic.
I tried the new ones, just didn't flow well for me...so I changed everything back...I actually have had close games and been beat 3 times.
My question is this, could I use your new ones, and keep the threshold at 20? thoughts? just curious why 45? is that because of all-madden? thanks
Oops I accidentally deleted my reply to you so here it is again,
You can use whatever feels great to you, I have it set to 45 as I am testing the difference between 50 and 0, personally I like threshold at 0 because it makes the players speed ratings actually take affect, but there are pros and cons to that :
Pros : players speed is more realistic, especially since EA used player's 40 times this year to give them their speed ratings, you will see more dynamic plays from WRs or speedy RBs.
Cons: Since your WRs and RBs true speed rating is faster than offensive linemen, if you call a screen pass the linemen don't always get there in time, also when running the ball your linemen at times don't get to their blocks in time before your RB is there so you might stumble on their feet, and lastly you might see some high scores if yours or the CPUs corners are slower than your WRs, you both better have good corners or know what coverage to call because streak routes are pretty crazy. You or the cpu can just lob it downfield to a godly WR.

I honestly love my threshold between 0-20 but when you have it set 40-50 you see tighter coverage. But I'm all about realism, and I'm loving threshold at 0, but for the purpose of wanting new comers to enjoy my set and see tight fun gameplay I have it set to 45. As I posted you guys can use whatever speed you enjoy just know it does affect sliders.

thanks for the response.

I cant recall, but was the previous settings on 48 tackle or 47 (all -pro)....I had my ....I know I had written down 47, but I don't think I changed it when I tried the new ones, so not sure if you had it at 48 or 47 previous to the new changes...thanks

Do I still need to do the coach bypass thing to stop the players confidence from getting outbof control?

I haven't played the game in months, but someone figured out if you select the opposing coach as an active and then reselect your coach the confidence didn't go up as much.

I'm not sure. I don't really care too much about that confidence stuff.

When did the fast game speed vanish? I enjoyed the feel of a realistic NFL game. I see slow and normal are the two primary options now...
