Haven't noticed it too much. Most of the time when they step out they already have the first against me lol

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (All-Pro)

My game play has held up with my current settings:
All-Pro. 15min/12sec. Normal. 45 Thres.

Second game box score.

Comeback win for the panthers. Not gashed for as much in the run game this time. High winds and Novak misses all his kick attempts and costs me the game.

Yards per play: Texans 4.6 - Panthers 6.5

Will be trying the game speed at Slow with 48 Thres. and see how the game play changes.

You are getting really solid results. Somehow I must be terrible since I allow 30-40 pts per game lol

Does anyone know who had the spreadsheet to log the season statistics and info year after year to track you teams progress?

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (All-Pro)

So I was looking at a chart from the past couple years, and the amount of big plays (20+ yards) is very slim, as a matter fact most players are caught from behind right before they score, only the fastest of the fast have easily made it to the end zone without getting caught, that's only a handful of players. This lead me to play with the threshold and raise it to 50+, and I'll tell you this, the pass coverage, blocking, and defensive pass rush look more and more crisp. I have a friend who uses speed threshold between 90-100 and he recommended I try it, he stated that everything looked more crisp, there wasn't any slipping and sliding or wierd player movement, and when the cpu caught the ball on a route towards the sideline, they wouldn't run out of bounds in an awkward way as soon as they caught the ball, he also stated that players who were the fastest of fast (92+ speeds) would not be caught by a linemen. So I've been testing and trying threshold at 55, 60, 75,90,100 and I have to say, it feels unbelievablely realistic, you have to really earn those big plays, he showed me some highlights from last year and about 90% of the time a player was caught by a CB, SAFETY or LB right before they got to the end zone. I watch every game every NFL game if my Cowboys aren't playing, and I do notice myself that big plays don't happen all that often, majority of time coverage is tight, it's usually a defensive battle, yes there are times where DeSean Jackson or O'Dell Beckham zoom past some corners for a big play, sometimes you see Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch rip off a big chunk of yards, but honestly how often do you really see 20+ yard plays? Think about it. Most people complain that they were caught downfield by a linemen, and yes that is frustrating and almost all the time unrealistic, but when a RB is caught by a CB, SAFETY or LB, it's pretty realistic. In this game I have not been caught by a defensive linemen downfield with threshold even set to 75,i ran multiple screens to McFadden in practice mode vs Seattle and vs Carolina, and only LBs and Safeties and Corners were catching me. I threw a streak multiple times to Dez (89 soeed) and Terrance Williams (92 speed) Vs Seattle and Carolina corners and at times they were able to break lose downfield and get away, other times they weren't, so I guess where I'm going with this is that I'm still trying to find that right threshold as we speak, but I'm leaning towards it being a little higher than usual, and some people might get scared of the number and of course you don't have to try it, you can stick to whatever threshold you're using, just be ready for a change at threshold in a bit. I feel it's way better, it'll make the game more fun by keeping the score tighter, making you really have to earn your points, making every play you call matter, making you actually look for mismatches. Yes scoring lots of points can be fun but I created these sets for REALISM, you came here looking for REALISM, the point of my sets is to make the game fun an limit the bs madden can bring but also to try and mimic what we see in reall NFL games. I do not have it set yet to what I'm gonna recommend my sets be, but I'm almost done testing and I will inform you all asap.

Here's a video from a guy my friend told me about, this is on a previous Madden, this is so you see what I'm talking about run blocking and defensive play : https://youtu.be/0NI7VbLCnEM

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (All-Pro)

here's a chart to prove that big plays this season have been hard to come by, Buffalo leads league in big plays (20+ yard plays) and they only have gotten a big play 10% of the time this season.

This chart breaks down amount of overall plays, how many plays were rush, how many were pass, how many big plays, and the % of how many plays were a big play out of the total number of plays.

Big Plays Chart : http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/st...atistics/2015/

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (All-Pro)

So after testing, threshold at 90 gave me some crisp and clean gameplay, I saw some unbelievable WR vs CB interactions, big plays are not impossible I had a couple big plays, it felt much more realistic and fun , don't be afraid, trust me, everything looked and felt much better and I WAS NOT ONCE CAUGHT BY A DEFENSIVE LINEMEN DOWNFIELD lol I promise. Look at the route running and the reaction the WR makes after catching the ball, it's crisp.

Due to new speed parity scale setting, had to tweak both cpu and user run block to get a balance in the run game, cpu run block is now 95 and user run block is 36.
