Just finished my first offline regular season game against the rams. 28-21 loss. They killed me in every category. Jared Goff threw for 308, 3TD and 80%. That seems kinda high, but it's honestly not considering how terrible the 49ers secondary is. Average rating for both man and zone is only 76 and my defensive line doesn't really have any good pass rushers so I wasn't able to create any pressure

Only issue I'm noticing is fatigue. In the 2nd half my guys are already starting in the yellow. Joe Staley sat out an entire drive and my backup LT sucks. Once I was in the redzone i was down to my lower tiered wideouts. The other positions are subbing really well (D-line, DB, HB, LB). Seems to only be an issue with the offensive line and wide receivers. I can deal with the wide receiver rotation to a degree, but the starting offensive line was missing for a substantial part of the game. I didn't notice the issue in the first game i played, but it is there now. It started when i threw a pick 6 and then when i got the ball back my entire starting squad accept the QB was out (my offensive players had chased down the DB going in for the pick 6 so then they were fatigued and didn't come out to start the next drive which sucked).

With that being said Josh, I know that the auto sub settings are crucial to gameplay. What could i change to have my line not sub out as much that wouldn't kill gameplay, (lower fatigue?, change to higher mins with accel clock?). I'm loving the sliders and the results I'm seeing but the subs are killing me. Thanks for any advice you might have!!

Alhtough this question was directed at Josh, but I'd like to take the opportunity to weigh in:

OL subbing is a hard code glitch and has been forever...the OL doesn't get injured, but they do sub...

They'll sub at ANY setting...

I prefer to think of it as a "workaround" for those lack of injuries, because it forces you to develop depth on the OL...

HOWEVER:

The other "safe" option is to simply edit your OL's stamina rating higher...

I'd look at the NFL list in the roster section, sort by position and see what a "top value" is and come up with a "compromise" between your player's current rating and that "top end" figure...

It'll only take you a few minutes and you only have to do it once at the beginning of each season...

It'll give you a tiny advantage of the CPU team (because they'll still sub), but it will preserve the overall gameplay, in the process...



EDIT:

I thought of something even simpler...just pick a percentage and apply it across the board...like 10% would cut down the subbing, but still get a few snaps for those backups...

Are there attribute boosts for the CPU on all-madden? I noticed that I rarely get green matchups (matchup stick) and even top-class players like Gronk, Brown or OBJ are often only "yellow" against e.g. 81 OVR CBs.
But then again maybe I just didn't notice before...?

First game with these.

Felt really good and organic. Had to earn my points and the All-Madden cheese is definitely not a huge factor (little things here and there but no deal breakers).

LOVED that myself and the CPU both missed FG's (I even missed an XP). When Goff went down Keenum came in and performed much better. After I kicked the go ahead 50 yard FG with 1 minute left, I strip sacked Keenum and recovered the fumble to ice the game. Super small sample size but feels awesome so far. GREAT WORK!
What app are you using to post these stats? I'd like to share mine.
