It's a shame really. I mean I appreciate EA making an effort to improve the gameplay by developing patches. However, a lot of the slider work goes by the wayside when a large patch like this is released. It would be awesome if you had the option to pick which patch and or tuner you wanted to play with. Similar to what EA's hockey game allowed you to do a few years back. That way you could stick with a slider set that is working for you based on a past tuner/patch.

I have only played two games post patch and tuner so not a huge sample size by any means. I play all pro default (including auto subs) when a new patch is released as my baseline to identify changes. What stuck out to me most in only two games is the CPU running game was much easier to stop and was never really a threat. Pre patch the CPU running game was much more effective and a threat. Again, small sample size but I'm hoping this trend doesn't stick.

I'm not getting into specifics right now, but the core fundamentals that this set were based on have been changed. After stewing a bit, I started over..

It's alright, the core gameplay seems to be fairly solid....

What I need help with is for people to test both default AP and default AM with the following:

9 minute quarters, no acc clock
Main menu - default penalties/subs/sliders
CFM - default penalties/sliders and subs all set to 60/80
Ballhawk and Heat Seeker "on"

Be my eyes...tell me what you see that looks both good and bad. For example, a comment was made that on default AP, the CPU running seemed easy to stop - I'm curious as to why...is it due to shorter block duration, the RBs not trying to make moves, tackles being too overdone, etc. The "why" is just as important as the "what".

Tell me what you see out there (and please let me know which level you were on). If you see anything 'wonky' let me know...if you can tie it to the key ratings of the player's involved, even better. The more feedback I can get, the better...not stats, but help me see what you saw when playing...good, bad, and ugly.

Also highly suggest deleting profile and restart madden. Helped me last night testing.
