I'm not seeing constant 80%+ completion rates in my games, but I am seeing something maybe even worse in a ridiculous 3rd down conversion rate. I'm talking like the CPU going 15/16 on 3rd downs. From watching replays, it seems to go back to the long standing problem of the defensinve line not creating enough pressure.

The CPU QB will stand in the pocket for 7 seconds before throwing. That tells me the coverage is fine, if not great. But without pressure, the QB can simply wait for a WR to break off his route and throw to him wide open. There isn't really even suction blocking either, it's just that the defensive linemen can't win their battles and blitzes seem to be perfectly picked up every time on All Madden.

This. Trevor Simien just destroyed me going 15/17 for 326 yards and 2 TDs.
Both TDs initially started with good coverage but with all day to throw the WRs go into get open mode and the secondary just can't keep up.

I too noticed this. There are several plays per game where your DL/OLB wins the initial matchup, and on those plays, you get 3-seconds-or-less pressure. When that happens, you can have some success stopping the pass; you get sacks, hits, hurries, etc. But more often than not that firs matchup results in a stonewalling that sees your whole DL locked into place at the LOS for the duration of the snap with no push-based pressure. On those plays, it's impossible for any defense to hold up.

So I played the first half of my first 2 preseason games. Impressions:
-QBA felt pretty good, saw a few overthrows
-user run game felt good
-tackling and momentum were good
-bad QB made a couple bad reads, failed to see a couple wide open guys

-nowhere near enough pressure. couple sacks, but no consistent pressure
-coverage feels too loose
-cpu running op, 7-8 plays where the back got 10+ yards untouched

Just my first thoughts. Gonna test the pass game in practice mode.

All testing should be done in regular season games. There's been multiple statements regarding how any other area of the game will not work properly with this set

The game plays the same regardless of whether it's preseason or regular season. I've tested for my own set, and there's no difference between preseason and regular season.
