Got a few hours between Kids leaving for school and wife getting home. I'll play a couple with Helps/10-50 and see how that goes.

MM Injury-10, HS/BH-ON, Strafe-OFF

Two games in, got flattened in both. Jets @ KC, Chiefs in a SPread Scheme, with RB set to Speed back to match Jamal Charlse.

***Chiefs couldn't hold any kind of block early on for him. He was more often than not hit in the backfield in most every set I threw up against him. When he did have blocking, half the time he would run directly into a defender being blocked. IVe seen much worse...at 1/2 he was around 12-30 with a really cool 2nd effort, diving TD at the goal line.

***2nd half they picked up some blocks outside on blitz I was running and he took it 77 yards for a score. Minus that..he pulled 22 att for 49 yards. IF I picked any type of run blitz, the play was over with.

***Into the 2nd half, my pass rush disappeared and they tore me apart through the air. As hard as I tried I couldn't even get any percieved pressure at the end.

***Seahawks @ Jets. Vertical scheme, Balanced RB and I set QB to Scramble (I always do with these guys). A bit more steady blocking out of the superior Hawks line, and Rawls took what the D gave him. OVer and over, to the tune of a dead steady 26-101 and 2 scores. Blocks were held and Seahawks backs ran with purpose a bit more.

***On the flip side, pressure or no pressure I gut eaten alive by Wilson and what 3-5 yard underneath passes constantly. These weren't check downs, They just exposed me over and over and over. He took (and hit) multiple shots up top too. But it was horrid, 31-38 422 3-2.

I played as Revis and Skryne on a few possesions just to see what the heck was going on and they were jogging all over, and reacting to breaks really muddy, for what thats worth.

Hope this helped a little, Im way too exausted at this point. Looking forward to seeing how things played out for anyone else today...

Hey Tony,

Really good stuff; thanks for all of the detail! This helps a lot.

Two observations stick out to me....
  1. The 'jogging' in coverage. When things aren't balanced just right, that happens...I've seen it perpetuated with several different types of slider adjustments (example: lowering the Autosub "In" value below 80 will cause this). Interesting that you observed it with the 10 Injury slider....it's like the DBs lack "effort".
  2. The lack of pressure you observed...my guess is that it is the same sort of deal as the jogging; almost like the defenders lack "effort".
When dealing with this issue when modifying other settings and it has always wound up in the same place, reverting the modifications back to where they were. I'll look at this tonight to verify, but it should be pretty easy to pick out if that is indeed the issue (I strongly suspect it is). If so, it is next to impossible to rectify, meaning that the 10 injury setting is not going to fly (which honestly does not surprise me).

This leads us to the other option, keeping the MM injury slider at 50 and turning all assists off.

Re: JoshC1977's M17 Sliders

Two questions...
1. I on,y play CPU vs CPU with classic rosters. Will these sliders work in CPU vs CPU?
2. In all my CPU vs CPU games I have not seen a single missed FG. I've seen 2 blocked but none missed. Is this a KAC slider issue. A kickers rating issue. Or just a madden 17 issue?

1. I'm working on some updates which may be friendlier to CPU type games.
2. This is more of a Madden issue in general.

While rare, I've seen at least a few missed FGs.

So where are we at now in terms of testing? I lost track a bit. I will have some time tonight if I can help at all, but I just need to know which settings differ from the OP set.

Re: JoshC1977's M17 Sliders

Ok guys. I have updated the op set for the changes to ap in the main menu as well as to turn on ballhawk and heatseeker.

Now, I added an option for the main menu fatigue so please see the table for info. Both look solid, they just play a bit differently. I will personally be sticking with the 50 fatigue option.

I recommend giving both a shot for a few games and decide for yourselves which you prefer.
