Re: JoshC1977's M17 Sliders

Same with press coverage. The WR beats the press and has a wide open go route. Instead of the deep safety helping he will just stand there until the receiver is 15-20 yards down to his zone.

Same with switching zones. LB is covering a drag route and leaves him to the corner in the flat. Instead of standing on the nearest side of his zone to pick up that receiver he just stands in the center. So when the LB backs off there's a few seconds where the drag route is wide open.

In reality there's hardly ever these huge wide open separations that you see every play in madden. Most passes the defender is a footstep. Behind them and they try to deflect the ball.

I just see these robo QB issues anyone else does. Ever. IMO its probably the least of my concerns (and Ive likely played about 20 games OP just since Friday)

My issue is and ALWAYS is horrible CPU running. Once in a while its good. Most of the time its ineffective, terribly. And way too often, its a 16 att 26 yard abortion. I hate it.

Like say you got man to man on the outside with the MLB playing zone in the center. Its a double slant. #1 beat his corner and has a lane. Instead of seeing that and closing it the MLB will just stand there jogging in place like an idiot instead of attacking that hole before it enters his zone.

Sounds like they do exactly like the steelers did Sunday night. Except they didn't jog on place. Just stood in their zone flat footed and watched patriots run to the open area.

I do not see this as well, unless playing crappy run team. just played patriots year 2, in my falcons cfm, and lewis and blount combined for 180 yards, including lewis with a 64 yard scamper. This team had Brady retire, so Bradford was their qb, lmao, so my very solid D held pass game in check, including 2 picks. Julio was Julio for me , 8 catches for 166 yards. I won 32-20. Love my pass rush of Beasley and Clowney on edges. I am 3-1 so far, lost to panthers.

Right on. And I see those too. Infact Blount just rolled me up too. Once every 4-5 weeks a team puts up huge numbers. But also, its usually off 2 or 3 big plays. I just see 2 ypc games way too frequently.

How is the CPU in terms of consistency? Game to game, and even carry to carry for you?
