To your question....I think either clock approach is fine....maybe some slight differences in fatigue rate.

I do recommend that if you use acc clock, that you keep it at 20 seconds or higher so that the CPU will call audible.
Ok thanks, I have been using the settings with my cousins in our league, and they have same settings and they are enjoying the sliders, CPU is much more tougher now.

Re: JoshC1977's M17 Sliders

OK this latest patch definitely addressed some irritating issues, but IMO the bad outweigh the good here. The CPU run defense has become atrocious. I run mostly iso, power, and counters and it seems that every single run has gaping holes. I'm in the preseason but here are my first two games. I'm San Francisco. First game against rams, second vs patriots

Game 1
Williams Sr 18-114 6.3
Davis 6-103 17.2
Hyde 7-98 14.0

Game 2
Williams 26-155 6.0
Hyde 11-71 6.5
Davis 8-33 4.1

Is anyone else experiencing this? The CPU pass offense has improved tremendously. So has the CPU punt ability. CPU pass defense has improved as well. The game is way too easy since this latest patch IMO though due to the unreal running game

You will find the mantra inside this thread is at least 8 games(half a season) to evaluate the slider settings fairly.

Personally, I don't take the preseason as serious as the regular season because fatigue doesn't become a factor at all.

Just my thoughts and suggestions and good luck.

Understood. I have played many games pre patch, but never had anything like this. But still playing so we'll see how the reg season goes

I concur..preseason games have less intensity to them...just as playoff games have more. Madden has been this way for as long as I can remember.

Re: JoshC1977's M17 Sliders

Of course I was over thinking it... Reg season is here.. I still killed Philly 22-3 and Hyde was still 19-142 for 7.2. But one run was 70 yards. Not a whole bunch of ten yard runs here and there. Williams was 5-19. Game was great overall. Thanks again
