That was a wicked trait on '16, I had some linemen with it and they took holding and false start penalties all the freakin time.

Josh not sure if anyone should read into this or not, but I had TWO QB scrambles in one game with YOUR sliders in CFM Offline , CPU v CPU mode. Well it's Play the Moment on slow so it just plays cpu v cpu.

Tuner is installed also. The videos are posted in this thread:

The 8 rushes by Jimmy Garoppolo are 6 from the read option play that the CPU selects cause I'm using Carolina's playbook, and 2 were QB scrambles.

This could easily be tied to that Pocket Presence bug mentioned earlier as well...

A bunch of things are gonna be hard to nail down until they address that...
This is interesting, in my test game I had one RTP - called on the CPU for hitting my QB late. I hit the CPU QB 6 times during the game just as he released the ball / just after and did not get RTP called on me. Small sample size but I was thinking, hey the RTP setting is fine.

Not quite an apples-to-oranges comparison for standard franchises....more like tangerines-to-oranges
Yeah, I agree that is 'just the way the game plays' - its a bit depressing but you are correct.

Re: the rosters, my team content is wacky because I traded some veterans and a bunch of picks to stack the roster (Zeke Elliott, Aaron Donald, R Nkemdiche) and changed to a 4-3 which IMO gets more pressure in Madden. Basically, I wanted to make sure I was not failing on the HUM side just because the IRL Browns suck on D.

The CPU roster for Bengals was default.

OK....so you're not using a fantasy draft team....gotcha.

Check into your scheme...sometimes tweaking things there can help a lot. This year, you can also edit your player type if you really want to (I think it is borderline cheating since the CPU can't, but hey, we can do it if we want).

So we have one game with 6 another with 1....sample size definitely needed here....which is the outlier? We'll monitor this as we play.

yeah, sorry, I thought you meant that the CPU team also had talent redistributed.

This happened last year on any setting I used in CFM from 51-54...

They came in bunches or not at all...

It'll be interesting to see what a larger sample tells, but I'd leave it at 51 / accumulate a decent sample and then either leave it alone or go with 50 or even 52...

Higher = Mo Better (IMHO) with regard to them "exploring options" (secondary receivers / checkdowns / scramble) after vetting the "red route"...

Too low and they just stubbornly stick to the play, often to their detriment...

It's ALMOST like some of the effects of the former IG slider got folded into this one...
