How's the running game with these sliders? I feel it's a little too strong on default (especially for the CPU). Way too many broken tackles and outside runs busting for untouched TDs. Mediocre running backs turn into Walter Payton or Barry Sanders on the reg. Not realistic or fun.

That might be slightly overpowered still, but it's in an attempt to avoid all of the tackle for losses by the defense.

I will say, the most important slider change I have made has been to increase tackling to where it is--otherwise, as you said, broken tackles all over the place.

Re: Mike Lowe Madden 17 Sliders

Keep in mind, lately I've strictly been playing a PTM CFM, but I don't feel I'm seeing enough penalties called. Dead last in the league.

Thoughts? Might be a different story in fully played games.

Made three changes to post 1:

Kickoff Power -5 (don't max out your power meter as that simulates an overkick)
Fatigue +5 for more AI subs
Illegal Block In The Back +2 which is where it used to be.

Absolutely loving these right now!

Re: Mike Lowe Madden 17 Sliders

I keep trying different slider sets here on OS but always find myself coming back to these.
I started my Bengals franchise with them last night and played my first game at the Jets.
Game/sliders played great!
The only issue was the yards per carry for both me and the CPU. They were a bit low but I am ok with that for now.
It seems like to me most of the sets on here produce way too many shootouts!
It was actually nice to play a 17-10 game, game was a blast. I ended up winning 17-10 scoring a TD with 38 seconds left.
Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled the first 3 quarters but led them on a great drive to tie the game with 4 minutes left.
See stats below.
CIN 10 NYJ 10
CIN
Dalton 29-44 332 yards 1 td
Hill 17 car 81 yrds
Eifert 6 catch 87 yrds
Green 5 cat 88 yrds
NYJ
Fitzpatrick 16-33 210 yrds 1 td 1 int
Forte 23 carries 89 yrd
Marshall 6 catch 55 yards

That's actually great to hear. I'm happy to see score variety is possible. Now let's test out this patch! I don't think we'll see any major changes, frankly.

I was using Charter's sliders and was playing a season with the Browns.
After 8 games I has allowing 42.9 ppg, every game I played was a shootout.
I am seeing some really cool things with your set.
Like last night I have a 3rd and 5 at midfield, converting a 1st down would pretty much ice the game. I was up 7 with about 5 minutes left.
I rolled right with Dalton and spotted a wide open Eifert about 10 yards downfield. I have completed this play about 3 times earlier in this game. I stop Dalton to get his feet set, hit the pass button and.....Dalton throws the ball about 10 feet over Eifert's head for an incopletion..4th down had to punt and the Jets end up tying the game.
I never saw that once in my other 50 or so games I have played.
Heck Dalton only completed 65% of his passes for the game.
After 8 games in my Browns season, RG3 had completed 85% of his passes using the other slider set.
I actually had one game vs the Dolphins using RG3 that he went 34-36, that is not a typo.
