Thanks! So having pass coverage set to HIGH makes press coverage less effective? Do you have a thread/source with this info?

I noticed this at the beginning of the year (the new Madden year), while testing Charter's sliders. Btw, when you get the coverage too high, zone coverage will not play correctly, either. I'm testing your set, and I have reaction time and coverage at 70.

70 reaction time and coverage, and raising the pass accuracy to 18 for the cpu and user, the game seems to be playing quite well. With accuracy set at 15, my defense was overwhelming the cpu (and that was using the Lions), and that should not be happening. I changed the user accuracy, because I could not use any kind of pass lead, not without it being incomplete every single time. I gave up a few big pass plays when playing press man, but it was not due to my CB glitching out. I had a CB with 60 press (Nevin Lawson) playing bump and run opposite a WR (Randall Cobb) with an 81 release. This showed that player ratings still mattered, and the sliders are not overshadowing player ratings. This is the most fun I've had playing Madden, since Madden 2004, and it's all because of this slider set. Really great work, Mike!

Tried these for the first time and they played really well. Fun game! Played as the new look niners against the Seahawks with Lacy in the backfield. Lost 34-27. Saw lots of neat things, 99 yard kick off return, pick six, missed fg, broken tackles, penalties, nice return yards on kick offs. Qb percentage for both in the mid 60's. Was having trouble finding the right sliders with the newest patch, but I think I just did. Great work!

I'm glad to hear they're working out so well for you!

Guys, I'm heading to China for about two weeks for a vacation, so bear with me being MIA. Enjoy the sliders, and keep the discussion going! I'll be around a few more days, but wanted to mention that in case folks had questions.

Using practice mode, I'm seeing that pass coverage slider definitely positively impacts a CB ability to stick with a WR during and after bump coverage. And it's working very well.

First, let me say that I do not feel 70/70 works well (coverage/reaction). That produced results where the CB was being burned every single time for me on cover 2 man press against four verts. 50/50 actually worked better and so did 100/100. Perhaps a small sample size, but 100/100 was definitely smothering, as one would expect.

With reaction, it seems when that is too high, the CB gets smoked...but then again on 100. it was working fine.

Still testing...
