Re: Charter04's Madden 17 All Madden Sliders

I definitely see your point but ive had pretty good games. When i played the rams w Seattle i barely moved the ball the next game i played the niners and dominated. Seattles line is average at best so it felt like that against the rams. I like it where its at i havent seen an issue. I would be worried by raising it running would be too easy again

So I tested a game with my OL with 99 ratings in all the stuff that matters for the OL against one of the if not the worst rated front 7's the Browns.

Elliott had 28 carries for 161 yards 5.7 YPC and 1 TD's.

We gave up no sacks.

It's just one game but, my line didn't dominate as much as I thought they should with 99's.

It's just one game. I'll test another. It's possible I may need to raise user run block.

I want things to be challenging but, if you have a great OL I want it to matter.

Elliott's number felt more like if it was just the real Cowboys. Just a good normal game. I mean this was against a really bad line of the Browns.

What do you guys think? Anyone struggling to run as good as your teams ratings would suggest.
It's a mixed bag running. I'm rolling with the Cowboys and Elliot has had games of: 33-100; 28-68; 27-162. My big game came vs Chicago and hit a 57 yarder late in the game. Probably had 95 of the yards in the 4th.. I've been playing with tackle at 48/42.

There are a lot of negative plays, but if you can hit a big one and grind a defense, you can have a good ground game. Seeing the back get touched behind the line a BIT too much. Thinking of trying Rbk at 52?

Re: Charter04's Madden 17 All Madden Sliders

Just wanted to step in and say thanks for these sliders Charter. I'm someone who has always played on All-Pro (sometimes sliders, sometimes not) because stock All-Madden has frustrated me. This year, tried out some great All-Pro sliders from these forums, but wanted to step up since the game feels so good, and also because I felt like the games were becoming a bit too easy and predictable. So I grabbed your sliders and turned on a random matchup in Play Now. Before talking about the results, I just want to say they just feel right. The speed, the playcalling, everything about the game felt good and it was super fun. The main thing was that I felt in control the whole time, didn't feel like the comp was cheesing at all. Any big plays given up were my fault, and the relative lack of offense was my own poor play.

Here's the game:

The game got off to a frantic start with turnovers and huge plays on both sides. I had a decent drive, ending in a TD. Brees immediately found Snead in single coverage deep for a long TD. A couple drives later, Brees fumbled and I ran it in a couple plays later. The CPU was struggling running the ball, but kept at it, and a few missed tackles resulted in a long TD run for Ingram. The next 2 TDs were after decent drives by both me and the CPU.

The 2nd half was different as the defenses got stuck in - Brees was under a bit more pressure (resulting in incompletions) and had to check down a lot on obvious passing downs because of pretty good zone D. On the other side, my running game was completely shut down and Dalton's inaccuracy on deep balls resulted in a lot of long 3rd downs. Brees found Cooks for a long catch and run and eventually hit Snead for the winning TD.

I really enjoyed the game - I felt like my adjustments resulted in the CPU needing to adjust accordingly, and unfortunately for me, they did. The only small nitpicks I had were similar to previous posters - the autosubs mostly (and in Play Now, I didn't expect them to be great). I wasn't really able to create great pressure on Brees (despite his 2 fumbles), but that's more down to his quick release I feel. The other thing was, I played on 15 min quarters with 14 sec runoff - as you can see, the CPU ran about 60 plays, and I ran 75ish (after sacks). Might need to tweak the timing there to drop the playcount just a little bit. I'll definitely be rolling with these sliders for my franchise. I hope the autosubs issue gets ironed out by EA, because gameplay wise, they were fantastic. Thanks for a great set of sliders - you have definitely revitalized my interest in Madden!

Something is different this year i had Goff just throw for almost 500 yards on me i just bumped hum pass covg to 70. I dont think that anyone who plays all madden should drop to all pro tho adjust first even if its extreme cuz going to all pro from all madden is a giant leap down imo and you will murder the cpu

Re: Charter04's Madden 17 All Madden Sliders

I'm going to test again and also raise the TE's, FB, and WR run block. Then I'll get a better idea. I might even just let the CPU control the RB to test

Re: Charter04's Madden 17 All Madden Sliders

I'm leaving the OP alone until the patch.

I'm just going to continue my own extended testing. I'm going to maybe even play 8-16 games of a full CFM season to see what the season stats show.

Re: Charter04's Madden 17 All Madden Sliders

Just a mention regarding injuries. I've been slowly lowering that slider because the injuries seemed to be coming quite frequently.

I'm down to 42, and still seeing 1-3 a game. BUT, they seem to be less severe injuries. Guys missing 2-6 weeks instead of the 8-12 week ones...
