Re: M17 Custom CPU PBs & Default All-Pro(DSkins81)

one thing I noticed with my punt returner is that he will catch a punt anywhere, even in the end zone. I have to manually move him so he won't. The ai logic for my opponent doesn't do that. Very odd, i only noticed it after reverting back to ootb.

Re: M17 Custom CPU PBs & Default All-Pro(DSkins81)

With all the Fast talk, I've actually upped it and gone to Very Fast. I never went anywhere above Normal in previous games, but this year the speeds seem re-tuned, and the faster speeds feel great. I'm liking Very Fast as it actually can make scrambling throw-on-run QBs a threat. Mariota had some incredible passes on the run against me in a game that I feel I'd never see on slower speeds, due to the throwing animation usually taking too long and getting sacked while in the process of throwing it. With faster speeds, the ball actually gets out. Also just generally saw some throws straight into the dirt, actual poor passes (which i assume are a part of the gameplay being sped up, more frantic animations make for more unpredictable things)

Pass rush also feels good, as a player I get paranoid if my first read is covered, because you don't get too much time to make a second, as the D is on you quick. Normal or slower speeds now in this game feel like you have an eternity.

Overall I have become a believer in the fast speeds, and I think I'm preferring Very Fast.

Curious, can i download the latest roster and still delete the update without deleting roster? Or is ootb best with the original roster?

I agree. For some stuff slow looks better like WR crossing pattern. QB backdrop animation.

The for other thigh fast works better. resemble pass rush speed better. You have to make decision much faster.

Physic and momentum also feels more realistic.

But like someone said. Speed is a perception that depends on each person.

So whatever works the best. Personally like I said. Some ariff looks better on slow. Others
On normal and others on fast.

Re: M17 Custom CPU PBs & Default All-Pro(DSkins81)

Would anybody else be interested in having two different types of scrambles for QBs?

Like say you hold R2 and it's like it is now, the QB kinda runs and keeps looking downfield. You can throw it in the run or let go of R2 set your feet and throw it.

But also have it where if you tap R2 the QB goes into "scramble" mode and you can't throw it but the QB is running full speed and you have all ball carrier moves avalible to you.

You probably would have to download everything again. Including roster. Unfortunately patch and tuners. I deleted everything but latest rosters when I did it.

Re: M17 Custom CPU PBs & Default All-Pro(DSkins81)

Just for fun I moved all the cpus Main menu sliders to 100 and went back into my CFM, played with my CFM slider set (listed on OP) and the game played exactly like it did before changing anything in the MM.
So, I'm concluding that MM sliders have 0 affect on CFM sliders.
Your best bet is to adjust within CFM.
Good thing is we haven't had to do a whole lot of adjusting.
I started my 1st CFM back in August and the sliders are almost identical to what I had then.
