Playing Romo next.
Here's his traits

I'm wondering why Rodgers and Romo both have Predictablity set to yes?
Cowboys have a vertical scheme
I'm just removing most of the 4 vertical plays on the 2min drill, 3rd and 4th and long, so customcowboys PB for this game(2nd controller trick). They still have a few 4 verticals but not so overwhelming that's all they call

I did also change the QB Scheme to Balanced(default had him as a Pocket Passer?) Romo is more balanced imo, he should be more like A. Rod in the pocket and not just a pocket passing statue.

I also setup the Cowboy's coach/user so I could adjust the autosubs along with the QB Scheme. Still can't figure out why they had the scheme set as pocket passer.
Things like this can make or break the cpu imo.
So qb scheme matching to the qb traits should help.

It definitely did for A. Rod in my last game(previous pg. last post)

I hope you did this for every QB

Well we played solid D but Romo and Witten came through in the clutch!
My Skins fall to 3-8! It's all been realistic losses, mainly b/c I make 1 or 2 bone headed plays and let them back in it.
Also need to work on getting the WR to make the right deep catch animation when I have 1 on 1.
Romo ended up throwing 3 ints in this game but he got the TD when needed the most.
E. Elliott finished w/ 22atts, 93yds 4.2 w/ 2 huge TDs.
Man we had this game, up until late in the 4th!

Penalties were balanced
Cowboys 5-45
Redskins 6-64
I have penalties set to 52 on most
We actually won the turnover battle by +1 and still lost lol

Re: M17 Custom CPU PBs & Default All-Pro(DSkins81)

I've tested apx 16 games now with this setup.
Main issues I'm seeing w/ default AP is the
Amount of turnovers!
I like how the defenders are flying to the ball and making plays though!
Also the pass rush is fierce!
Just counting my 11 regular season games, not counting preseason or games I played over.
We are
3rd in sacks: 40(3.63 per gm, I user control an interior or edge rusher almost every play)
My qbs have been sacked 26x(2.36)
1st in Ints: 21(2.0 per gm)

Forced fumbles are about right(7 FF) and they don't count recoveries from the Olineman so it shows we've only recovered 2 and I know we recover at least 1 or 2 of our fumbles every game.

Btw the CPU is forcing just as much if not more turnovers.
I've thrown 24ints(2.18 per gm)
8 fumbles lost(0.72 per gm)

34 total giveaways by me (3.09 per gm)
23 total takeaways (2.09 per gm)
So the cpu is avg. 1 more takeaways per gm than me.

So the question is,
Wait for the Patch and keep the defenses as is?
Attempt to adjust the defense?
Which could cause the offenses to become OP'd as I'm seeing in most slider threads.

Generally, who are the leading solo and total tacklers on both teams? Also, how are most of the sacks and interceptions coming? Do most sacks come off of blitzes as do most interceptions?

Thanks

I'm seeing a good mix of MLBs, Safeties, and Corners leading in both solo and total tackles.
On my team it's
Free safety
D. Hall leading with 40 solo and 42 assisted(11gms)
Strong Safety
D. Burton Jr. w/ 33 solo and 47 assisted
And my
Middle LB
Perry Riley w/ 32 solo and 42 assisted.
It's a passing league so more secondary guys will naturally get more tackles.

Sacks are coming from mainly my front 4.
Kerrigan(OLB) leading w/ 9
I keep it fairly balanced as far as blitzing vs coverage.
Some plays the heat is on from the snap, others plays it's from good coverage and forcing the qb to hold the ball.
Overall it feels and plays alot like real life though.

Ints are coming just from the secondary being just as aggressive as the WRs, if not more so. Especially in double coverage. Just seems the ints may be caught too often at times

I may have missed how you do the game setup, if so I apologize. Are you doing 1 controller setup, or the 2 controller setup?

I'm back and forth between the generic PBs and Custom.
When I set the cpu to a custom book, I have to use the 2 controllers. More info on this on the OP
