One other note. I do miss passes with Dak. Maybe 2 per game. But there also more drops with my wr's. Drops that did not happen with higher rated Romo. In other words, Romo will have higher completion % and yds. Again, it's EA's way of accuracy and or ratings. While just about every pass may be a dart on the money, the better QB.....plays better.

Exactly, EAs way of showing who's rated better.
With the lower qb awarness, the cpu D will have better coverage and reaction to passes, leading to more drops, airballs, and deflections.

I love the suspense of not knowing if the ball was caught right away, waiting for the announcer to tell me.
Another "sim" part that was ruined with the Updates. Just another reason I love this organic out of the box gameplay.

I had to reset my gameplay sliders and I put the User Tak back to 50, so only slider change is Ints: 32/32.
For some reason, 1 game after changing the tackle slider, both the User and CPU defense forgot how to block shed.
Both teams were on pace to set rushing records lol.
May have been just a fluke game but I got paranoid with losing my tight gameplay and went back to my faithful setup now.
I can already tell the block shedding is back and big runs will now be limited again!

Last night's games, eased by the Giants. Not the Redskins though lol. As usual Norman had a timely pick in the end zone. Turned the whole tide of the game. Dak proceeded to throw 2 more picks in the 4th

3 Games in, here is where my player stats are. Pretty darn accurate I think

Heck yeah! Stats looking GOOD!
Nice seeing our Mlb's leading our teams in tackles.

Currently 4-1. Beat up on the 80 rated Bears and 75 49ers. I have 3 tough games on the horizon though. Bengals, Packers and Eagles. The thing is, we got to realize Cowboys are rated high with current rosters. 86 in cfm. 89 at MM. So I'm curious to see how I do now. As the team and player ratings do matter more than ever this year. Haven't won a SB, or went with the Cowboys in Madden, in many many years, in season 1. Edit: I'll post game stats for last 3 games tonight

We improve to 2-3 !
Beat the Ravens 20-10
I called my own plays in this game, the coaching strategy plays are too bland and repetitive by default.
I spread the ball around using the Skins Gun plays for most of the 1st half. Think I had 20+ pass atts. By half.
Ended up with 36 pass to 33 run, stayed with the run game and finally was able to break some tackles late and use the clock with under 2 mins to play.
Ravens were very close to making a play to tie it up in the the 4the but Steve Smith Sr.couldn't hold onto it with 3 defenders around him.

Flacco was out, so my D looked alot better VS Mallett
Good to see the backup qb play like a backup

Here are some stats
14781076449171737994839.jpg

1478107826113-33292717.jpg

I threw 2tds 1int
Mallett had 1td 2ints (one on a hail Mary on the last pass of game).

We had 1 sack, 2ints
CPU 2 sacks, 1int

I missed a long 57yd fg w/ the wind on my back.
Cpu missed a long 50+ yarder before halftime.
Good to see variety and the unexpected back in the game!

I'm really liking this out of the box setup!
