Maybe something wrong with your controller? Or maybe your trying to do it on reverses? Counters or motion plays?

Sometimes those abilities are locked out of certain plays.

I just bought an Xbox one elite controller. It doesn't work on any plays. But I can press Right Trigger for Call of Duty games. Maybe it's cuz I have trigger stoppers, I'll try it without them. On my controller it's like a scuff. I can adjust the triggers to make it less time for the button to react, I can remove the sticks and replace them with shorter or longer sticks, different stuff. It also has the paddles.

Hahaha success! It was my trigger stoppers. Thank God. I was stressing because I couldn't assign my running back or TE to pass block when I saw pressure or blitz coming presnap

Im still getting those super short punts that go to like...basically the line of scrimmage.

It seriously is hampering my play, it gives me way to good of field position.
