Flazko, why do you recommend your pink set over any other set you have?

I have a set for you to try It's a blend of Flazko's all-pro sets, mainly Sauce, Hybrid and some elements of the pink. Keep in mind that his blue set was more or less a base for everything. The idea behind this set is to give you the All-madden challenge, using the all-pro model. You'll notice that this is weighted heavily in favor of the CPU. Like all of us sim-style players, I want realism, but it needs to be challenging too. This is the NFL. Every game you play should keep you on your toes regardless of your oppponent.

All-Pro
Slow game speed
Player Parity/threshold: 90
Fatigue: 65
Injuries: 30-35
15 minute quarters/ 16 second playclock

USER/ CPU
QB accuracy: 7/47
Pass block: 15/35
WR catching: 48/48

Run block: 15/90
Fumbles: 55/55

*Pass reaction: 9/18
INTs: 40/40
Coverage: 89/99

Tackling: 55/55

FGP: 50/50
FGA: 30:30
**PP: 40/40
PA: 90/90
KP: 60/60

*I've noticed that pass reaction also has an impact on the running game. While this particular slider is predominately "pass reaction", it's 25% "ball reaction". The DB's and LB's seem to react slower to this the lower the number is. It's not significant but it does have a slight impact.

**I might try moving punt power to 75/75 to see if that helps the CPU wind punt glitch. Otherwise I have a house rule for the time being; if the CPU punts into the wind, I don't bother fielding it - I let the CPU down it. It sucks, but that's EA for you. They don't seem to care too much about their mistakes.

Give this set a shot. Credit to Flazko.

So far I have only played two games. I have a franchise going with the Raiders and one with the Eagles. Week 1 with the Raiders, I beat the Saints 33-31. Week 1 with the Eagles I lost to the Browns 21-20.

I'll try to post some stats in a bit. Quick synopsis from the Eagles/ Browns game: RG3 took some shots down the field, Duke Johnson rushed for around a 90 yards on 17 or 18 carries. I outgained the Browns in yardage roughly 370-300. The game felt real and had a challenge to it. If I adapt to this set, I'll move the sliders appropriately. It was fun though - I enjoyed it.

This is the stats I got from the pink set

used the pink set and beat up the Browns 42-10 in the opener, i realized after the game i was still playing on slow.

Here are my stats and box score.

CLE [0-1] 10

PHI [1-0] 42

Quarter 1:

7-0 [PHI] Smallwood 59 Yd Pass From Wentz

Quarter 2:

7-7 [CLE] Crowell, 10 Yd Run

10-7 [PHI] Sturgis, 26 Yd FG

13-7 [PHI] Sturgis, 17 Yd FG

Quarter 3:

21-7 [PHI] Matthews, 4 Yd Run (2PT)

28-7 [PHI] Graham, 19 Yd Fumble Return

35-7 [PHI] Matthews, 5 Yd Run

Quarter 4:

42-7 [PHI] Matthews, 1 Yd Run

42-10 [CLE] Gould, 35 Yd FG

Eagles Stats:

C. Wentz: 16/23, 254 Yds, TD, Int

R, Matthews: 22 Att, 91 Yds, 3 TD

D. Green-Beckham: 5 Rec, 67 Yds

Z. Ertz: 4 Rec, 79 Yds

B. Graham: 7 Tackles, 2 TFL, 2.0 Sacks, 2 FR, TD

C. Barwin: 7 Tackles, 2 TFL, 2.0 Sacks, 2 FF

Browns Stats:

J. McCown: 19/33, 210 Yds, Int

I. Crowell: 22 Att, 87 Yds, TD

G. Barnidge: 9 Rec, 91 Yds

C. Coleman: 3 Rec, 69 Yds

J. Miles: 9 Tackles, TFL

C. Nassib: 8 Tackles, 3 TFL, 0.5 Sacks

I picked up 6 or 7 sacks on the game, once again this could have been because it was on slow.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Game speed is user preference. I like the feel of slow on this game a lot. I feel like I have no control over my player with Normal game speed. It's a bit too all over the place for me. But with my set, I'm favoring the CPU significantly, and I have no problem adjusting the sliders further in favor of the CPU if find myself adapting to this gameplay.
