Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Second game:

Beat Saints (as Eagles ) 36-17.

Fun game in what I thought I would lose after Ingram ran in a 75 yard touchdown on the very first play of the game..

Brees was 27-40 with 335 yards, 1 TD and 1 pick. His stats don't really show how he destroyed us, at least in the first half. He was perfect at 19/19 and even had me thinking to suggest you lower the QB accuracy ever further. However, i started playing a lot more Man coverage and that seemed to do the trick. It was gratifying to know that the game changed so much do to my defence adjusting, which is credit to both Madden 17, and your set. The CPU QB accuracy in my mind is perfect where it is, could even be harder if anyhing because my DB's are very poor.

Bradford was 24-34 with 356 yards, 2 TD's and two picks. Judging by this game and the previous, I may just make the suggestion to lower the user QB accuracy. This may seem like an odd suggestion as I threw 3 picks in those two games. But I did seem for the most part quite easy to get the yards, 600 in two games, and the picks were all entirely my fault, nothing crazy from the CPU. My QB is also Bradford and I can only think it would be even easier if I had a better QB. I just want that struggle to get the yards with Bradford as he does in real life.

I would also suggest making the User run blocking harder as I am finding it relatively easy to get a lot of yardage on the ground with relatively average RB's eg. Matthews (108 yards, 13.5 average) and Sproles (54 yards, 5.4 average). Maybe just dropping it a little will add a bit more realism. The CPU running game seems good where it currently is at. However, could also maybe suggest upping their run blocking, but again, not a huge deal.

DGB was an absolute monster for me this game with 198 yards. The variety in which the CPU uses it's receivers is great!

On the defense we had 8.5 sacks with Cox getting 3.5 of those. I do think our defense is great, maybe see what others get with lesser quality defenses. The CPU only got 1 sack, making that 4 in two games against me. Our O-Line is quite average as well, as I am not playing Johnson at RT, but instead Barbre. The interceptions PERFECT for me! Both feel deserved on either side of the ball.

Again, loving where the set is at at the moment. My only real suggestion would be to lower the QB accuracy by just a touch, and maybe the run block as well.

Also, does anyone play with the clock on run down? Or just normal?

I just feel on normal the games tend to be too high scoring.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Game three:

Beat Bengals (as Eagles) 32-27. The scoreline is a lot closer than the game really was. Bengals outscoring me 22-8 in the second half.

Dalton was 21-37, 291 yards with 3 TD'sand two horrible, horrible picks.
Bradford 14-25 with 188 yards with 3 TD's and one pick. Just playing with the clock on run down hence the less throw attempts. Not sure which to do moving forward.

We blew out to a 32-13 lead at one point but got careless and they came back.

Jeremy Hill destroyed me with 135 yards which was nice to see as the previous two games the CPU RB had not much to offer.

Defensively Michael Johnson destroyed me with 4 TFL. We only manged 3 sacks this game, with Bengals getting just the one.

What I really liked was how differently this game played in comparison to the previous two eg. struggled to pressure the QB, CPU ran my *** over and put more pressure on the passing game through my secondary.

So my final take overall from the three as far as the sliders would be to only lower the USER QB accuracy as like I said, with Bradford had little trouble finding my receiver. I would most definitely lower it, where would suggest possible lowering the USER Run and Pass block, as I had little trouble finding space on the ground and never felt a great deal of pressure with passing with a pretty average O-Line.

Everything else is spot on! Great work again Flazko!

Great sliders again Flazko! Really enjoyed your set last year and you delivered again.

Just played my first game with the current set and it was amazing. Only change I made was to 15 min Qtrs with 15 sec Runoff. Gave me the right amount of plays. (129 Total, taking sacks into account.)

A defensive struggle early on, until my offense (Texans) got going. Had to really on a few Osweiler scrambles to earn my TD drive.

Running game felt earned on both sides, and Cutler started off horribly until the middle of the 3rd when he and Langford tried to lead a comeback from being down 19-3.

Box Score below.

Feels like kicking power could be tuned down a bit. Novak easily knocked in a 55 yarder with room to spare, no wind, along with a few 45+ kicks for both kickers with no problem. Besides that, everything else ran smoothly and felt authentic.
