Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Can't find something which works on normal speed. My DEs in my 3-4 can break and hit the QB real quick. Going to try it on slow.

Update: Slow on this Madden is actually good unlike the last few where it was snail speed. Doesn't feel much different from normal, less separation however. Still seeing too many sacks and QB fumbles however. 3 drives between me and seahawks. 1 TD for seahawks. One was ended by a QB fumble. And an interception. Same for me.

Playing all-pro true simulation with the latest patch. Really plays well. First set that I've gotten a fair amount of penalties for both teams.

First game on slow settings. A couple of adjustments. Tackle down to 56 as I was seeing too many fumbles by the QB's. Also put the CPU pass blocking up a couple to reduce how many sacks I was getting. Game was against the Seahwaks.

Score
SEA: 7 - 7 - 7 - 11 = 32
SF: 7 - 3 - 8 - 0 = 18

Yards
SEA: 103 Rush, 264 Pass, 367 Off, 33 Punt Ret, 19 Kick Ret, 419 Total
SF: 60 Rush, 129 Pass, 189 Off, 114 Punt Ret, 61 Kick Ret, 364 Total

Passing
SEA: Wilson- 22/38, 287 yards, 2 TDs, 2 Ints, 77.4
SF: Downey - 21/36, 139 yards, 4 Ints, 27.2

Rushing
SEA: Rawls - 26 Carries, 102 yards, 1 TD, 3.9avg
SF: Davis - 17 Carries, 32 yards, 1.8avg
SF: Downey - 5 Carries, 26 yards, 1 TD, 3.6avg

Defense
SEA: 12 TFL, 1 Sack, 4 Ints, 1 Pick Six
SF: 13 TFL, 4 Sacks, 2 Ints, 1 FF, 1 FFRec

Penalties
JAX: 4 - 20 yards
SF: 2 - 10 yards

I have a feeling I may not have put interceptions down from 32 to 30. Either that, or they need lowering again. Or it's just Legion of Boom. Maybe the likely, Kerley, Smith and Gabriel aren't really great match ups against them. Will probably leave it the same for the next game, hopefully a one off.

In terms of running the ball, I failed to get a break past the line many times, many 0 and 1 yards games. My blocking may need a bump of a couple. Or once again. May just be the Seattle D.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Ok this is interesting, im playing my playoff game against Atlanta and its like the new acc slider thing isnt working this game wow or just one of those games,

mid 3rd qtr niners 24-6
we are 18-19 passing, coach mode im not throwing
atlanta is 13/16 kinda frustrating but ehh oh well, covg is 50 reaction is 100, pass acc is 20, and again rushing game noooo where, kinda bugging me i dont want it to be easy but man, my rb 11 for 17 the backup 6 rushes 8 yards, run blocking is i believe 50, and tackle 50, maybe ill go back to what it was last game 60 rb and 45 tackle, Atlanta RB is 16 for 37, not to to bad, but i guess the run defenses are great huh lol

.
.
Ok finished out the game not much changed, hmm wonder if it has something to do with using custom playbooks, i may up RB,

Final stats we rolled, its on all pro to i dont get it hmm weird maybe i just have a good team 30-6

we were 21-23 passing one pick and one throw away thats all for non completions, 190 yds 2/1

Atlanta was 21-29 72% which isnt to to crazy, 240 yds 0/3

Rushing ehhh
My starter 18 rushes 36 yards, my backup 8 rushes 0 yards i mean come on hahha, my Qb ran for 44 on 3 carries mostly read option plays

Atlanta RB was 17 for 40 2.3 avg soooo yaaa, longest run not counting the qb read runs was 11 yards, by both teams, Falcons longest was 7, hmmm oh well,

we ad 95 total rushing yards atlanta had 40, it got honestly alil boring it didnt feel like a playoff game, and with the rushing game not really getting crap and the passing on fire it was like why even try to run the ball and just pass it but i kept trying to run, just to see,

we are on to the Nfc title game against Saints 2nd year in a row, I was hoping Carolina would have won cause they have our former QB of 9 years who just won the MVP so that would have been interesting, anyways yeppp just thought i would post how the passing today felt like pre patch,

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

The only change I made prior to the game was putting the interception for both CPU and human to 28. This game was played against a 0-3 Arizona Cardinals.

Score
SF: 3 - 13 - 9 - 10 = 35
ARI: 3 - 0 - 6 - 3 = 12

Yards
SF: 159 Rush, 233 Pass, 392 Off, 88 Punt Ret, 61 Kick Ret, 541 Total
ARI: 86 Rush, 130 Pass, 216 Off, 41 Punt Ret, 0 Kick Ret, 257 Total

Passing
SF: Downey - 24/39, 250 yards, 80.1
ARI: Palmer - 4/12, 54 yards, 1 Int, 13.9
ARI: Jones - 14/25, 112 yards, 2 Ints, 34.1

Rushing
SF: Davis - 25 Carries, 122 yards, 4.8avg
ARI: Johnson - 19 Carries, 86 yards, 4.5avg

Defense
SF: 13 TFL, 5 Sacks, 2 Ints, 3 FF, 2 FFRec
ARI: 8 TFL, 2 Sacks, 0 Ints, 1 FF, 1 FFRec

Penalties
SF: 5 - 45 yards
ARI: 3 - 20 yards

So I think the CPU may of just had a bad game. A 0-3 team now 0-4. No confidence. Players overalls suffering etc. Running game went very well compared to the last. Can tell a big difference in quality of the good and bad teams.

Cardinals QBs threw 3 balls straight to my MLB's. Hopefully it doesn't become a regular occasion. If it does I may bump up CPU QB accuracy up to 7 or 8.

Think I'll carry these sliders into the next game, see if the CPU can make some more plays both side of the field. They failed to really make any long drives, lets hope that changes.

If it would be best. Should I start a thread posting my results and thoughts on the sliders. Or should I just carry on posting here. I don't think it will be many more games anyway. I feel I've nearly found my perfect sliders. Which means an update will be coming out in a couple of weeks to ruin it haha

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Blocking is literally the only thing I cant figure out with these sliders, Im trying to decide whether or not to raise or not, because I dont want it to get too out of hand and be able to run and throw easy but this is just crazy. My line is average in my league but my friend that is in the league with me has a great oline and he cant run or get any time to throw with all almost 90 rated lineman. you literally only get a sec to throw the ball. outside of that everything plays great and is competitve.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

No changes made. Game against Panthers.

Score
SF: 0 - 10 - 3 - 0 = 13
CAR: 6 - 7 - 0 - 10 = 23

Yards
SF: 133 Rush, 196 Pass, 329 Off, 56 Punt Ret, 75 Kick Ret, 460 Total
CAR: 150 Rush, 99 Pass, 249 Off, 20 Punt Ret, 51 Kick Ret, 320 Total

Passing
SF: Downey - 30/49, 245 yards, 1 TD, 4 Ints 46.7
CAR: Newton - 10/21, 117 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int, 61.0

Rushing
SF: Davis - 16 Carries, 88 yards, 5.5avg
SF: Gary (Rookie Draft) - 7 Carries, 24 yards, 3.4avg
CAR: Stewart - 22 Carries, 90 yards, 1 Fum, 4.0avg
CAR: Newton - 6 Carries, 54 yards, 9.0avg

Defense
SF: 14 TFL, 2 Sacks, 1 Int, 1 FF, 0 FFRec
CAR: 8 TFL, 6 Sacks, 4 Ints, 1 Pick Six, 0 FF

Penalties
SF: 5 - 40 yards
CAR: 1 - 24 yards

So yeah. QBs still not doing much. Missing open passes etc. Can't look into my 4 ints much. My QB is 72 rated, two of those interceptions came with 2 minutes left, throwing deep, a low rated QB will get picked 80% of the time doing that. Problem for CPU however. May bump CPU QB accuracy it up to 7 or 8, or may put WR catching up a couple so they drop less passes under pressure.

Running game felt fine once again. Just need to sort the passing game, mainly for the CPU now.
