What you can do is start a season from preseason so you can make the moves yourself. After each week go to the transaction page and see if/who the CPU cut on your team. Then go to free agents and sign the players back to your team. Also after you sign a player back, the CPU will sometimes cut someone else (it's very weird), so check the transaction page again. Repeat this every week during preseason. Sorry to get off topic, if you have any questions you can PM me.

Make sure In setting all CPU for user are disabled for filling roster, signing players, etc.....

Check this post too about CPU playbook for the workaround in Franchise.

Yep, very good. In particular the Pistol formation will give you lots of option plays, from read option to triple option and the like. I've played a few games with these and am liking them so far. Dropped cpu tackling by 5 as it felt like I wasn't ever breaking tackles with Ezekiel Elliot (or others). I then ran for 298 yards and 6 td's against the Browns, so yea I'm moving that slider back up. Only other real change I've made is dropping fatigue as I was left with backup WR's/OL by the 4th. I may raise it a bit and adjust the substitution settings when I've got time.

do i need to insert everything but CFM specific sliders into both the main menu settings and then again in the CFM settings or do i need to only enter them into the main menu settings and only adjust the fatigue in CFM? when i enter the sliders into the main menu settings; most of the sliders in CFM are set at 50; not sure what i am supposed to do.

These are the 1st set of madden sliders I've tried in years. I usually make my own. I have to say that they are really good so far despite the sample size (2 games). I saw some new animations and quite a few bad throws by quarterbacks which was a nice change from 8 games I played on default sliders. That said, I would like to see the AI be more aggressive in the 1st half with their #1 WR.

Set in both to be safe.
