I've decided to just stick it out on All-Pro for now and deal with it while tweaking sliders to shore up certain areas of the game.

As for the CPU passing game, that's my biggest issue as well and I can't figure it out. The CPU will take the very occasional shot downfield otherwise they love throwing into the flats over and over again. The only slight fix I've come up with is to call hard flat zones which forces them to look beyond the flats more since my defender stays down there but that leads to easy curl routes or the CPU panicking and throwing it away. Part of me feels like this game really has issues with the CPU progressing players, especially QB's as there never seems to be an elite one once the drafted guys start taking over and many have sub 80 DAC yet have exceptional SAC thus leading to them playing to their strengths more times then not.

I honestly wish I could progress all the QB's across the league as I bet if we were able to progress their DAC it might solve some of these issues.

What you said exactly, on AM it feels like the ratings are taken out of the equation and it's like playing the same team over and over. I wish we had the option like NCAA 14 of choosing the skill for offence and defence.

Stupid questions...

1. Where do I set Auto Sub In/Out in CFM?

2. Is the "Player Speed Parity Scale" slider setting the same as "Min Player Speed Threshold" or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

1. Don't have game on right now but I believe it's in the coach options just under roster and depth chart as you scroll the cfm layout to the right, if not then it's one of the menus in settings to the far right

2. Yes

Unfortunately, I find that the cpu qb just won't push the ball downfield no matter what I do. I've lowered my defensive coverage and reaction but that's not the issue, the cpu qb will dump it off short even though there are receivers downfield wide open. It gets boring having them swing it to the back or dump it 5 yards downfield over the middle over and over.

Unfortunately when I play All-Madden, the CPU offence is just right while I can't do anything on offence. The cpu defence only gives me the same short junk and it feels like I'm playing the same team calling the same plays every game. And I am so sick of my ball carrier being stopped inches from the 1st down marker ALL THE TIME on third down.

Unfortunately I find myself in a place between All-Pro and All-Madden, anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Yep, I'm in that category to between all-pro and all-madden lol.
But onto the the issue with the cpu qb. I saw the same issues. So I put Cpu QBA at 30. And kept WRC at 55. The other thing I did was put speed threshold back at 50. I had trouble stopping the pass. For User I have QBA at 15 and WRC at 50. After a few play now games and 2 CFM games this has worked out great! Manning threw to Beckham several times deep. Completed 2 long TD passes. It was actually awesome. I can post stats later. One was like 70 yds!

And Chef, another thing I did was make CPU RB Sub In/Out at 70-80. I gave up 180 yds on the ground to Vereen of the Giants. One run was a 75 yd TD. So that threw the avg per carry out of wack. I gave up roughly 95 yds to Kelley of the Skins I'm week 2. I think it's about right, with my weak Dallas front 7. Again that's with Cpu Rblk at 75. And User Tak at 40

Ohh I've seen them take shots downfield my issue is the never ending dump offs into the flats instead of intermediate routes. I rarely see the CPU even attempt passes on in routes, outs or curls now, its literally all flat routes, angle routes from the HB, hitch routes from the TE or slants and thats it. Once they find themselves behind, since its gotten too easy to stop the throws into the flats then they'll try their luck deep only to get picked off throwing into a 3 deep zone. Now if the CPU receiver is a stud then they can sometimes make the play still otherwise it doesn't work out well for the CPU.

I only played one game with CPU RBK at 75 and David Johnson was doing well (14-101-0) but with me shutting down their passing attack and scoring at will against their garbage defense I built a big lead and they abandoned the run for the most part.

I think the CPU progressing players is a big issue. The CPU is inept when it comes to progressing, QB's, WR's and OL never seem to get better at the same rate mine do which ends up creating this large disparity between my team and the rest of the league. I've got my Niners up to a rating of 89 overall in season 4 meanwhile other teams have either remained stagnant or dropped off, rookies from the first draft have progressed very little and again now my team looks like the best in the league. I may end up taking over as owner of every team and start progressing all of them myself but I don't want to deal with drafting, resigning and doing free agency for every team either.

I can just imagine the CPU is dumping XP into worthless things like injury and toughness for OL, or elusiveness for WR's, things that really don't get all that better once a prospect is drafted and take awhile to even remotely effect a players overall.

Re: Armor & Swords Madden 17 Custom All-Pro Simulation Style Sliders

Gotcha. What year are you in. Because I'm pretty sure mostly recievers are getting the passes. And they are not dump offs. I'll double check stats, but I don't think cpu rb's are getting many catches. But again, if your in 2 or 3rd seasons it could be another problem.
Edit: I almost forgot, I have speed threshold at 50. So I think it's creating more separation for the elite wr's. Most of which have good speed and acc. And keeping my QBA 15 and WRC at 50 I'm not really exploiting the cpu with my speedier wr's.
